04:09 AM calle: I can vacuum a rather large area of floor in 10 Minutes, with normal 230V powered devices .. the battery powered stuff is for fun and giggles only
04:15 AM hackkitten: yeah, I imagine a battery-powered mowerbot isn't going to outperform a cord or gasoline powered mower either
04:15 AM hackkitten: only battery powered vacuum I got is one of those small handheld ones for small stuff
04:15 AM hackkitten: saves me the trouble of dragging out the full vacuum
04:47 AM calle: Dunno, there seems to be voltage comparison race between mower vendors, 80V should be good for a few kW of power
04:48 AM calle: I don't lawn to mow, but i guess it beats breathing in 2-stoke fumes on a regular basis

05:33 AM calle: Its one of the main adaption of electrical tools in some areas, less toxic fumes to breath for the employees. Also many of the landscaping tools are operated really close to the body
