12:53 PM system123454321: I have hc-sr04 (cheap ultrasonic sensor), and trying to measure distance to 2x2 lego brick on a small conveyor. My problem, is that brick is very small, and it rarely detect it. Can I make some kind of "tunnel vision" for hc-sr04, so it is more focused?
01:28 PM ace4016: system123454321, not an expert on sonar/acoustics but a physical apeture might help using the sensor as is; if you wanted to get fancier, you'd have to drop the control circuit and do your own thing

10:37 PM system123454321: I need to know approximate distance. E.g. 4 or 6 cm. My plan was to use the color sensor, but I realized that I don't have it :D.
