10:10 AM gaze__: Jak_o_Shadows, it will be yanking on a brake shoe. It won't actually always be running at 100% but they don't really make 80% duty cycle solenoids

10:12 AM gaze__: I'm winding 38 AWG wire, so the tension control needs to be super fine
10:13 AM gaze__: also the load is somewhat inconsistent. It pulls, stops, pulls, etc. It's just better to have a feedback loop here
