12:33 PM Maya-sama is now known as Miyu
01:16 PM Miyu is now known as hackkitten
06:39 PM Jak_o_Shadows: yup, that's a mistake mun
06:39 PM Jak_o_Shadows: through bugger me, oz-in is a bad unit
07:04 PM logb0t_ is now known as logb0t
08:36 PM mun: Jak_o_Shadows yeah, thought so. it's strange that they couldn't lift the load even when the calculation is based on 60% of datasheet torque
08:50 PM Jak_o_Shadows: but could it hold the load?
08:50 PM Jak_o_Shadows: cause like, static is different to moving
08:51 PM rue_shop2: hmm
08:51 PM rue_shop2: this is why I put the math in the garbage and work with the tested values
08:52 PM Jak_o_Shadows: eh. More a case of single values from a datasheet telling the whole story
08:53 PM Jak_o_Shadows: also, annoyingly, this damn OLED doesn't want to have a proper line mode.
08:54 PM Jak_o_Shadows: It wants to do 8 rows, 1 column at the minimum
08:55 PM SpeedEvil is now known as Guest27596
08:55 PM Jak_o_Shadows: Which is not the paradigm I wanted to use.
09:12 PM justan0theruser is now known as justanotheruser
09:35 PM rue_mohr: I think I know what I goofed up
11:45 PM Jak_o_Shadows: oooh, I could use an E-ink display
11:46 PM Jak_o_Shadows: rather than OLED
11:47 PM Tom_L: are those newer?
11:47 PM Tom_L: i'm not familar with them
11:47 PM Jak_o_Shadows: I was having trouble finding an OLED display that is the right sorta size
11:48 PM Tom_L: have you configured them before?
11:48 PM Jak_o_Shadows: nup
11:48 PM Jak_o_Shadows: This project is for a compass for the car
11:48 PM Jak_o_Shadows: so not being too bright is a criteria
11:49 PM Tom_L: i haven't but i've heard at least on the early ones there is a config sequence you gotta get right
