01:21 AM Jak_o_Shadows: Oh yeah, the L4's and F4's are a lot nicer than the F1's. If I were doing a board from scratch (SMT parts, etc) I'd pick one of those
01:56 AM chisight: even the cheap f0 are actually pretty nice. and cost considerably less than an atmega328.
02:01 AM rue_mohr: I dont like throwing a stm at somnething I can easily do with an avr tho
02:01 AM rue_mohr: if I can do it with a tiny13 I'm happy doing it
02:05 AM rue_shop1: working on the filter profiler
02:44 AM chisight: the low end f0 chips are about the same price as a tiny13. insane given how much more capable they are, but familiar is a value all of it's own so i understand sticking with an attiny.
03:42 AM Jak_o_Shadows: I knew it. It isn't inlining the functins
03:48 AM rue_shop1: it usually wont
03:48 AM rue_shop1: thats why I use macros
03:48 AM rue_shop1: its got no choice
03:50 AM Jak_o_Shadows: Off to #C
04:15 AM rue_mohr: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4EgbgTm0Bg&feature=emb_logo
06:40 AM rue_bed: Tom_L, I have a graphic lcd that I'v not been able to get around to setting up, I wonder if I should take the fpga and get it to do a text screen with it
07:48 AM Tom_L: worth a try
02:56 PM rue_bed: oof, I"m not even out of bed and its 12:40
03:15 PM Tom_L: more like 3:08
05:24 PM rue_: iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim back
05:24 PM rue_: power outage
05:24 PM rue_: apparently the ups that does the modem needs to be ... upgraded
05:25 PM Tom_L: swap batteries out again
05:28 PM rue_: well, its a realyl tiny ups too
05:28 PM rue_: see if I can find one that fits a larger battery set
05:32 PM polprog: todays experiment with amiga floppy drive didnt turn out too well
05:33 PM polprog: i guess ill just build the interface board someone else designed and tested
05:33 PM polprog: why do they have to complicate everything..
05:39 PM Tom_L: because
05:44 PM rue_: hmm
05:44 PM rue_: so, I need catfood
05:44 PM rue_: generator gas
05:44 PM rue_: eggs
05:44 PM rue_: milk
05:44 PM rue_: bigger UPS for the modem
05:45 PM rue_: hmm
05:45 PM Tom_L: and a truck to get it all in
05:46 PM polprog: I need the FPGAs, where are my bloody FPGAs
05:46 PM Tom_L: i wish mine would get here too
05:46 PM rue_: so, the power outage closed the IDE AGAIN
06:36 PM logb0t_ is now known as logb0t
09:25 PM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
10:23 PM rue_shop1: hmm, the trouble is implying that the comparitors click faster with one polarity than the other
10:24 PM rue_shop1: 4.969V, 0.066V, 2.496V, -2.365V, 03999
10:24 PM rue_shop1: ch0 high peak, ch0 low peak, ch1 high peak, ch1 low peak, freq
10:25 PM rue_shop1: the voltages for ch1 should be +-2.5V
10:25 PM rue_shop1: its grabbing the signals too early
10:25 PM rue_shop1: the peak detectors havn't settled
10:31 PM rue_shop1: no, the scale/offset must be blown
10:33 PM BitEvil is now known as SpeedEvil
