06:00 PM gartt: Anything simpler/easier than a Raspberry Pi + camera for a simple home security camera? A smartphone could be used, but they aren't made to be recording video continuously - the battery will eventually bulge and die early
06:01 PM gartt: All I really need it to do is record video triggered by motion activation, and I can do the rest (cronjob to check if it recorded anything, then SCP the video file to my server)
