12:08 AM rue_mohr: morning
12:16 AM katsumi: hi rue_mohr
12:16 AM katsumi: i'm hungry
12:16 AM katsumi: cook me an egg pls
12:17 AM katsumi: ;)
12:17 AM mrdata: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUuviA9T_-o
12:19 AM katsumi: mrdata: nice, but i will never eat that egg
12:20 AM katsumi: cookin water, place eggs and take out when perfect
12:23 AM katsumi: https://www.oremountainquails.com/eier-kochzeit-errechnen/eierkocher.cgi?d=115&twasser=100&tstart=7&tinnen=75
12:23 AM katsumi: uni wien
12:24 AM katsumi: i lold
12:26 AM katsumi: i want to cook the egg
12:33 AM katsumi: the bot destroys the eggs
12:33 AM katsumi: :(
12:34 AM mrdata: yeah that was disappointing
12:34 AM mrdata: i like sunny side up
12:34 AM mrdata: runny in the middle
12:35 AM mrdata: if you break the yoke you might as well make an omelette
12:38 AM zhanx: you need cast iron
12:43 AM mrdata: well, i use a teflon non-stick pan for omelettes
12:43 AM mrdata: with a lid
12:43 AM zhanx: sorry i am over here coding a wheel and making it square
12:43 AM mrdata: and grase the pan with a light oil
12:43 AM mrdata: *grease
01:33 AM rue_shop1: hmm, the tl074 needs 3V of overhead, so I dont have to be +-15V, I can be +-9
01:33 AM rue_shop1: reduce the power dissipation
01:55 AM katsumi: best way: low heat pan, put the egg in, heat up, switch off
01:56 AM katsumi: i like it somewhat eehm glibberish (i hope thats te rite word=
02:03 AM katsumi: rue: i think it depends on what special device you use... BT1074BI ?
02:07 AM katsumi: this is at 2.7-3.6 VDC power supply
02:08 AM katsumi: cmos
02:09 AM katsumi: BiCmos
02:14 AM katsumi: we are talkin bout a single chip rf transceiver, aren't we? so i cant see where do you need 9 or 15 V
02:17 AM katsumi: rue_shop1: so if you do not want to kill the chip, pls, give m 3V
02:31 AM katsumi: we'r talked about once
02:35 AM rue_shop1: I'm working on a filter profiler, its analog and I need +-V, atleast 3V overhead on the amps
02:38 AM rue_shop1: but
02:38 AM rue_shop1: the next step is an interesting one
02:38 AM katsumi: are you documenting your way?
02:38 AM rue_shop1: kinda
02:39 AM rue_shop1: I have a parameter board that outputs a signal from -6 to 6V, and I have a ADC that takes from 0-5V
02:40 AM rue_shop1: and I need to make sure that whatever I do, does not have any freq response from 1Hz to 40kHz
02:40 AM rue_shop1: I dont think I want to just take the whole range
02:40 AM rue_shop1: but, hmm
02:42 AM rue_shop1: if I'm profiling a high pass, the filter input will be in the 0-5 range, prolly 0.25-0.75
02:42 AM rue_shop1: and the output would be up to -0.25 to 0.25
02:42 AM rue_shop1: which is a problem
02:42 AM katsumi: hu? we r talking bout bandwidth 850-950 MHz
02:42 AM rue_shop1: no
02:42 AM rue_shop1: 1Hz to 40kHz
02:43 AM katsumi: hu?
02:44 AM katsumi: as the data sheet says, you got the wrong transceiver chip?
02:44 AM rue_shop1: 0.001kHz to 40.000kHz
02:44 AM rue_shop1: katsumi, your pretty good for a bot.
02:44 AM katsumi: lol
02:44 AM rue_shop1: but I know a thing you cant do, no bot can
02:45 AM katsumi: my bot just listening
02:45 AM rue_shop1: hmm, -5V to 5V adc range would be ok
02:45 AM katsumi: so lets play
02:46 AM katsumi: i'm not a bot
02:46 AM rue_shop1: you see, all bots say that
02:46 AM katsumi: yes +-5
02:46 AM rue_shop1: you know what a bot says back?
02:46 AM rue_shop1: I'm not a bot
02:46 AM katsumi: lol
02:46 AM katsumi: ^^
02:47 AM rue_shop1: so, I need to take -5 -> 5V and translate it to 0 -> 5V
02:47 AM rue_shop1: if I'm wise
02:47 AM katsumi: bots do not drink vodka in the morning but you funny
02:47 AM rue_shop1: hmm I'd trim it a bit
02:48 AM rue_shop1: but I can just say that 0 and 5 are saturation
02:48 AM rue_shop1: ok
02:48 AM rue_shop1: gain 0.5
02:48 AM rue_shop1: off set 2.5V
02:48 AM rue_shop1: I'v done this before
02:48 AM rue_shop1: so it has to be an inverting amp
02:49 AM katsumi: and i thought you are building a wlan burner
02:50 AM rue_shop1: filters are something I'v terribly underestimated
02:50 AM rue_shop1: I see it now
02:50 AM rue_shop1: if I can master filters, .... everything will be awesome
02:50 AM rue_shop1: and not just regular awesome
02:50 AM katsumi: use a capicitor instead
02:50 AM rue_shop1: but a kind of awesome that looks like magic
02:53 AM rue_shop1: so
02:53 AM rue_shop1: hmm 9.8mV sensitivity, I suppose thats enough
02:54 AM katsumi: at least: whats your goal?
02:55 AM katsumi: btw: what's the thing a bot can't do?
02:55 AM katsumi: phone you?
02:55 AM rue_shop1: my goal is to master filters
02:56 AM rue_shop1: high pass, low pass, mechanical, PID
02:56 AM rue_shop1: bandpass, notch, passive, active
02:59 AM katsumi: once when i played bass guitar i need more power than the guitar
02:59 AM katsumi: so it was 10:3:1
03:00 AM katsumi: when guitar has 30W
03:00 AM katsumi: i need 100W
03:01 AM katsumi: so i pimped my peavey to 2kW true RMS
03:02 AM katsumi: killed the speakers at 2 Ohm out
03:02 AM katsumi: a bot can't do this
03:06 AM katsumi: so low frequences need more power high less
03:06 AM rue_mohr: same with motors on mechanical systems
03:06 AM katsumi: a trompet has 8W
03:08 AM katsumi: do you have example for mechanical systems?
03:09 AM rue_mohr: a 2Hp DC motor hooked to a speedometer
03:09 AM rue_mohr: if you change the input slowly, it will follow
03:09 AM rue_mohr: if you change it quick, it wont respond fast
03:09 AM katsumi: need more advice
03:09 AM rue_mohr: aka, high freq attenuation
03:10 AM rue_mohr: so, you put an EQ on it, and jack up the amplitude of the high freqs
03:10 AM katsumi: ok
03:10 AM rue_mohr: if you want to know how much, you profile the whole mess first
03:10 AM katsumi: now i got it
03:13 AM katsumi: i hope
03:15 AM Jak_o_Shadows: katsumi, i fixed a tap, then I printed a socket mount for a 12V car socket.
03:16 AM katsumi: jak: photo pls
03:18 AM Jak_o_Shadows: Have a render - don't have a camera handy.http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=f71f6cc7d39d2b9bd0eef3cd495e99e1
03:19 AM Jak_o_Shadows: Annoyingly, when it exported from CAD, that circle got turned into a nonagon
03:20 AM katsumi: hmm
03:21 AM katsumi: looks like somehing special... dimensions?
03:21 AM katsumi: what is it good for?
03:22 AM Jak_o_Shadows: The hole is about an inch
03:22 AM Jak_o_Shadows: It's for mounting a 12V car socket
03:22 AM Jak_o_Shadows: I am adding another one to the car
03:22 AM katsumi: ah
03:22 AM katsumi: cool
03:26 AM katsumi: fahrwerk
03:29 AM katsumi: car chassis
03:29 AM katsumi: ??
03:37 AM katsumi: but you can't print out a ball-bearing
03:37 AM rue_mohr: yea you can
03:38 AM katsumi: piece by piece?
03:38 AM katsumi: plastics?
03:38 AM rue_mohr: no 1 pass print
03:38 AM katsumi: can't print metal
03:38 AM rue_mohr: yes, yes you can
03:39 AM katsumi: can't print metal
03:40 AM rue_mohr: hmm
03:40 AM rue_mohr: I should have supper
03:40 AM rue_mohr: 1:37am
03:40 AM katsumi: ok need induction heater
03:41 AM katsumi: possible but i haven't seen it yet
03:42 AM katsumi: doin some research
03:42 AM rue_mohr: I dont need to worry about the sine wave osc at this point
03:43 AM rue_mohr: if I have a system I can trigger to tell me freq, gain and phase, I'm ok
03:43 AM rue_mohr: so, next step
03:43 AM rue_mohr: should be reading the votlages and telling me the gain
03:44 AM katsumi: ok it is existing but much expensive
03:45 AM rue_mohr: I'm sure your either german or russian, and I'm more sure your russian
03:46 AM katsumi: both
03:46 AM katsumi: you got me
03:47 AM rue_mohr: cause your errors aren't completely russian
03:47 AM veverak: lol
03:48 AM katsumi: синтаксис
03:49 AM rue_shop1: hoches es ...
03:49 AM katsumi: syntaksis
03:49 AM katsumi: you analyzed it
03:51 AM katsumi: how was your supper?
03:53 AM katsumi: hoches es: esperanto this is
03:54 AM rue_mohr: I didn't do supper
03:54 AM katsumi: so 1:37 am i will locate
03:55 AM katsumi: ++++++
03:55 AM katsumi: *****
03:55 AM rue_mohr: ah, hochesh es was supposed to be 'do you want to eat'
03:55 AM rue_mohr: heh
03:58 AM veverak: well
03:59 AM veverak: basic robot kits, DIY solution, merkur, totem, fisher technik...
03:59 AM veverak: yeah, I feel I brainstormed enough solutions for mechanical parts for robotic course
04:05 AM katsumi: it is 2am in frankfort usa
04:05 AM veverak: 11:00 AM
04:05 AM katsumi: i have to edit this
04:06 AM katsumi: thats frankfurt
04:06 AM katsumi: fisher technik yeah
04:09 AM katsumi: grown up with it
04:12 AM katsumi: first i got plastcant hen fisher technik
04:16 AM katsumi: 46 years in past
04:16 AM katsumi: time goes by
04:23 AM katsumi: AKST
04:29 AM katsumi: i hate tcl
04:36 AM rue_bed: try motif sometime
04:38 AM rue_bed: its enough to make you want to write your own gui
04:38 AM katsumi: i do not want a GUI
04:40 AM katsumi: i'm runnin under windows *kotz*
04:40 AM katsumi: need tail for tcl scripting
04:40 AM katsumi: but it doesn't work
04:43 AM katsumi: parsing new lines into channel per putserv prvmsg
04:43 AM katsumi: to have the log just in time available when attack happen
04:50 AM katsumi: like this: http://hasis.hopto.org/tcl/amun.tcl
04:50 AM katsumi: i wrote 2008
05:02 AM steelworker is now known as katsumi
05:05 AM katsumi: however i will try to compile the bot under cygwin64
05:05 AM katsumi: wish me luck
05:21 AM marder is now known as katsumi
06:00 AM marder is now known as katsumi
06:01 AM katsumi: preparing the cygwin now
06:53 AM marder is now known as simion
06:54 AM simion is now known as L0gb0t
06:55 AM L0gb0t is now known as katsumi
12:50 PM yaqwsx: Recently, I saw a "through hole socket for pin headers" on a board - it was something like https://p.globalsources.com/IMAGES/PDT/B1166672593/Right-Angle-2.54mm-Pitch-Female-Pin-Header-Sockets-Through-hole-Connectors-with-Polarization-Peg.jpg - the connector itself was surface mount, the pin headers were put through the board. I would like to use it in my design, however I struggle to google it. Do you where can I find such connector?
02:16 PM * katsumi has absolutely no idea
02:20 PM mumptai: yaqwsx, try samtec
02:47 PM yaqwsx: mumptai: Thanks! I have found out that other vendors sell it as "dual entry socket"
03:33 PM katsumi: hi ho
03:35 PM katsumi: i solved zhe tcl tail problem due to compiling under cygwin64
03:40 PM rue_shop1: ?
03:40 PM rue_shop1: so you didn't get motif working
03:44 PM katsumi: no
03:44 PM katsumi: do not need a gui
03:45 PM katsumi: compiled the shit under cygwin64
03:45 PM rue_shop1: but tcl
03:46 PM katsumi: yes
03:46 PM katsumi: it was just tail that did not want to work under windrop
03:47 PM katsumi: all fine now
03:47 PM katsumi: dns not working
03:49 PM katsumi: mom i'll telnet'n it
03:52 PM katsumi: uuhm
03:52 PM katsumi: i ve to xchange the users file
04:00 PM katsumi: there it is
04:00 PM katsumi: read only
04:29 PM katsumi: rue: your still here?
04:36 PM katsumi: this tcl script will work for all log files or whatever you wanna tail
04:37 PM katsumi: http://hasis.hopto.org/tcl/logbot.tcl
04:39 PM katsumi: <logb0t> 81.4.125.131 - - [20/May/2019:23:33:16 +0200] "HEAD /tcl/logbot.tcl HTTP/1.1" 200 - "-" "IrssiUrlLog/0.2"

04:40 PM katsumi: thats what he does
04:40 PM katsumi: have fun
04:41 PM katsumi: loggin each other?
04:46 PM katsumi: goin to include mcps
07:36 PM rue_shop1: I was helping a friend build his brother a bionic hand
07:36 PM rue_shop1: I'm back on my filter profiler now
07:45 PM rue_shop1: the freq meter is intermittently going bazerk
07:45 PM rue_shop1: 00.98, 01.09, 53.461639
07:45 PM rue_shop1: 00.98, 01.09, 64.000000
07:45 PM rue_shop1: 00.98, 01.09, 101.347930
07:45 PM rue_shop1: 00.98, 01.08, 53.430222

07:45 PM rue_shop1: 00.98, 01.09, 56.000000
07:54 PM rue_shop1: hmm, its not settling out the peak detector properly
