01:19 AM mrdata-: rue_mohr, well, if the driver board uses opto isolators, like 4n35 say, then it isnt going to suck much juice from the microcontroller. perhaps 1 to 10 mA per gpio line? and the heavy lifting is after that
01:30 AM rue_mohr: you should be able to get an opto down to about 10uA, and use a darlington on the output to drive whatever you want
