12:00 AM AchiestDragon: ie with a 16mhz pwm signal and a 32 bit accurate pwm you should be able to repoduce audio at studio quality
12:04 AM z64555: 16Mhz may be even overkill if you're trying to do audio
12:04 AM z64555: (may even be?)
12:04 AM AchiestDragon: yea
12:04 AM z64555: I think the highest sampling rate is 44KHz or so
12:06 AM z64555: yeah, 44.1KHz or 48KHz
12:07 AM AchiestDragon: 16mhz is almost fast enough to get video well 320*240 vga mode
12:16 AM rue_: its ringing at 13-14Mhz at 3V
12:16 AM rue_: causing a lot of driver heat
12:16 AM rue_: I'm using an R-2R dac to set the level
12:18 AM rue_: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/images/p1100270.jpg
12:18 AM rue_: ring is on pin 4 of the TDA2050
12:19 AM rue_: oops
12:19 AM rue_: haha my 3k3 should be 3k0
12:20 AM rue_: that expailns the minor bump
12:21 AM rue_: the ringing dosn't happen on the breadboarded version, so, there is somewhere I can put a capacitor that will fix it
12:21 AM rue_: oh, and pin 10, should go to +5
11:01 PM rue_shop3: ok, I made another DAC
11:01 PM rue_shop3: ordered some more resistors
11:39 PM rue_: I had the amplitude of that driver oscillation wrong, its 13-14Mhz at 10V
