07:23 PM rue_mohr: the strings are done back to back polarity, with shunt resistors, from what I'v seen

07:24 PM Jak_o_Shadows: I know a guy who had a LED set, where the two colours were LEDs wired in opposite directions. So that was what I was looking for

11:35 PM Jak_o_Shadows: I am successfully computer controlling 3 channels of christmas lights.
11:35 PM Jak_o_Shadows: I also added an extra bolt to the card holder, so it doesn't bow or anything.
11:35 PM Jak_o_Shadows: It looks like it might actually be a reasonably production ready system. For a once-off, pretty happy
