12:30 AM rue_house: it interpolates axies
12:33 AM rue_house: linearly
12:33 AM rue_house: multiple axies
12:33 AM rue_house: its C
12:33 AM rue_house: do you want to know more?
12:36 AM Luminax-Work is now known as LuminaxWk
12:38 AM rue_house: I'll take that as a no.
12:41 AM anonnumberanon: im back
12:41 AM anonnumberanon: yes i want to know but tell me in english pls
12:41 AM anonnumberanon: i don't know about interpolations
12:42 AM anonnumberanon: or is that poling between literally, so making points in between points?
12:42 AM anonnumberanon: for smoothing?
12:54 AM rue_bed: yes
12:55 AM rue_bed: say you have one axis that needs to go from 2 to 60 and another axis that is going form 50 to 10, it will move them at the same time such that they both hit the targets at once
12:57 AM rue_bed: speed is controlled by a different system, the interpolator just generates the positions, and uses callbacks to set them, and then when they are all done it calls a function to execute the move and delay to the next position calculation
12:58 AM rue_bed: are you there?
12:59 AM SpeedEvil: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYUeGjmAh8N/ Early access hyperloop for fans of the Italian Job.
01:30 AM Wayward is now known as Trashpanda
02:09 AM anonnumberanon: rue_bed, okay
02:12 AM anonnumberanon: SpeedEvil, how fast does the boring company bore at?
02:46 AM SpeedEvil: A very small fraction of light-speed.
03:07 AM orlock: something interesting i noticed
03:07 AM orlock: Nema23's (at least the ones we have here) have a pair of 608Z's in them
03:07 AM rue_bed: how people never talk while I'm awake?
03:08 AM orlock: I've got about 30 or so Nema23's of dubious functionality. I wonder if they have bearings in them
03:08 AM orlock: rue_bed: went down into the metrology lab this morning, never been thre before
03:09 AM rue_bed: dubious? rusty?
03:09 AM orlock: no, but i did grab them from the bin
03:09 AM rue_bed: wires pulledout?
03:09 AM orlock: and some had fault tags
03:09 AM rue_bed: so,their steppers
03:10 AM orlock: may have just been they were no longer working at spec
03:10 AM rue_bed: the fault mpst likleyu was not the stepper
03:10 AM orlock: they monitor things like.. i think it was ESSR values?
03:10 AM rue_bed: sureley you can say that as validly about a SINK
03:11 AM orlock: Anyway, so, eve if they have a fault, i'm sure the bearings will be fine
03:11 AM orlock: but dubious also due to the fact the ycame out of robots that handle human tissue samples
03:11 AM orlock: apparently some of these machines end up fill of wax shavings with slivers of human tissue in them
03:12 AM orlock: this metrology robot i saw, its "working surface"
03:12 AM orlock: was a solid slab of granite
03:12 AM orlock: 1m x 2m x 50cm
03:16 AM rue_bed: huh
03:16 AM rue_bed: do they not make soic resistor arrays?
03:19 AM rue_bed: the freaking popup on aliexpress crashes my normal browser
03:19 AM rue_bed: and they broke the 'my aliexpress' link again
03:36 AM Jak_o_Shadows: scrollback time
03:56 AM Jak_o_Shadows: ok. Step 1) get that old servo gui to talk new protocol
03:56 AM Jak_o_Shadows: step 2) get it to play sequences
04:47 AM deshipu: rue_bed: http://www.vishay.com/resistor-networks/list/product-60015/
04:59 AM Jak_o_Shadows: ah, hell, where was that file
05:51 AM Jak_o_Shadows: rue_bed, https://github.com/Jak-o-Shadows/stm32-PCA9685 - gui.py & conn2.py do it
05:52 AM Jak_o_Shadows: It's not the best - but it does work
05:52 AM Jak_o_Shadows: (this is the slider thing)
06:01 AM Jak_o_Shadows: https://youtu.be/P5xnmY-OUqc
10:14 AM rue_house: Jak_o_Shadows, I have a program that does sequences
10:15 AM rue_house: and my code interpolates for ya
10:41 AM rue_house: Jak_o_Shadows, https://github.com/ruenahcmohr/roboPlayer <-- !!!!
10:42 AM rue_house: I tried to describe everything in the readme.md file
10:42 AM rue_house: I cheat, cuase I have another program that reads other hardware and can record the mot files, but you can hand code them easy
03:48 PM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
11:38 PM * AltJesteR printing, watching for dropped steps
11:39 PM orlock: you suspect voltage or heat?
11:39 PM AltJesteR: looks like with z zeroed x was straning the connections
11:40 PM AltJesteR: 2% its heat
11:41 PM AltJesteR: is darn hot, havent used my oven in weeks..lol
11:43 PM rue_house: DID YOU PUT ZIPTIES ON TEHOSE CONNECTORS?
11:43 PM rue_house: ?
11:43 PM rue_house: stupid capt
11:43 PM rue_house: sd
11:43 PM rue_house: iceweasel didn't seem to mind me typing that in caps at it...
11:44 PM AltJesteR: unwrapped them and checked so i can see whats what
11:44 PM rue_house: AltJesteR, oh, AND, whent eh sun is beating down on your table during a print, NO WARPING!
11:44 PM rue_house: :)
11:44 PM AltJesteR: figured a 40-45" bed would help with that
11:45 PM rue_house: ?
11:45 PM AltJesteR: should say 40-50'
11:45 PM AltJesteR: durr
11:45 PM rue_house: 40' bed?
11:45 PM AltJesteR: 'c
11:45 PM rue_house: ah
11:45 PM AltJesteR: slightly warm
11:45 PM rue_house: the sun shining in the window works
11:45 PM rue_house: I was amused
11:46 PM AltJesteR: it would, in the zone. in thory all i need to do is close me windows. whole apt is a heated build chamber
11:46 PM rue_house: or a heat lamp
11:48 PM rue_house: I got some toy 3-6V motors
11:48 PM rue_house: think I can turn them into servos?
11:48 PM AltJesteR: knows u can, but why?
11:49 PM rue_house: stronger, bigger,. "cheaper"
11:49 PM rue_house: the toilet was leaking in the bad way
11:50 PM rue_house: the floor is ~, its apparently been going on a while
11:50 PM AltJesteR: time for a new wax seal i guess
11:50 PM rue_house: with help, got it re set
11:50 PM rue_house: its got one now
11:50 PM rue_house: :S
11:51 PM AltJesteR: what should i sell online, Pinters, mills.. parts?
11:51 PM rue_house: the 3 olde computer power supplies I have
11:51 PM AltJesteR: overpriced maggot amazon store?
11:52 PM rue_house: vic-20, 2 commodore, and an amiga
11:52 PM AltJesteR: aside from that need to build an empire
11:52 PM rue_house: all siting in the "damnit, why have I not thrown this crap out yet?!" pile
11:53 PM rue_house: I have some radio tubes worth $23 ea if you can just happen to list them when someone is looking for them
11:53 PM AltJesteR: somone pitched a dlp tv in my dumpster today, I laughed it off
11:53 PM rue_house: ;)
11:54 PM AltJesteR: got a repair request for a buggy sammy 46"... hmm where have i seen on doing that..
11:54 PM rue_house: I have a 100W led and a large box of lenses
11:54 PM * AltJesteR glares at my wall
11:55 PM * rue_house stores at the floor "I havn't given up on that tv yet"
11:55 PM AltJesteR: note even worth iot. be more profitable to recap crt tvs than rejig a dlp
11:55 PM rue_house: the two tv's in the livingroom are unplugged
11:56 PM rue_house: the first colour tv I ever got, which was in like 85?
11:56 PM rue_house: and a tv a buddy gave me when he moved to england, with a vcr in it
11:57 PM rue_house: and, yea the dlp in the back livingroom
11:57 PM rue_house: if everything works out, I have my place paid off in Feb
11:57 PM rue_house: spend some money for a year
11:58 PM AltJesteR: buy a pino girl
11:58 PM rue_house: then go back to shoveling it all into someone elses pocket
11:58 PM rue_house: but interACTION with a hex is so much more intersting
11:58 PM rue_house: ;)
11:59 PM AltJesteR: pino girls are almost robots...
11:59 PM AltJesteR: kinda like replicants
