[00:59:55] <rue_bed> gnight
[07:26:41] <zhanx> forgot to plug in my weather station last night after i updated the software. So yea, its normalizing again, but so far its -8.8F out
[07:49:18] <SpeedEvil> I want to punch the person that made my weather station in the face repeatedly.
[07:49:32] <SpeedEvil> I wish I'd gone DIY, but I needed something soon.
[09:30:06] <rue_house> what did they screw up with a weather station?
[09:44:07] <SpeedEvil> It's bluetooth low energy on the base station and RF to the outdoor unit - which is OK. But it does mean that when you're away from the basestation even on your own wifi, you can't see the console. The software is a bit clunky, with a poor display.
[09:44:19] <SpeedEvil> These would be managable minor annoyances.
[09:45:34] <SpeedEvil> Except for the major ones like it will occaisionally go days without being able to connect to the outdoor unit (no, it's not signal issues), and though it can download data from the outdoor unit, and can also show immediate outdoor conditions has stopped logging data in the history graph since Dec 22.
[09:45:48] <SpeedEvil> The history graph took a week after purchase to even start working
[20:53:21] <rue_shop3> maybe it took the season off
[20:53:34] <rue_shop3> tell them you want the money back cause its crap
[21:34:07] <rue_shop3> oooo I want
[21:34:15] <rue_shop3> I want to write a nc generator
[21:34:30] <rue_shop3> I want to write one that can generate files for machines with multiple heads
[21:34:37] <rue_shop3> that work on the same piece at the same time
[22:25:51] <Tom_L> rue_shop3, you're silly
[22:28:51] <rue_shop3> :) thats what I thought 20 years ago when I was going to write a cam program for my cnc
[22:29:05] <rue_shop3> if I just HAD DONE IT I'd be beyond everyone now
[22:29:14] <rue_shop3> (in the hobby world)
