[20:29:02] <rue_house> not mine
[20:29:07] <rue_house> <deshipu> rue_house: https://hackaday.io/project/16312-binder-clip-robot
[20:29:08] <rue_house> <rue_house> its an arm!
[20:29:08] <rue_house> <rue_house> that took me a while
[20:29:17] <rue_house> my arms are all working, the finished ones anyhow
[20:29:48] <Tom_L> where do you get your pla?
[20:29:59] <orlock> rue: see my sumo bot?
[20:31:16] <orlock> My quadrature encoder wheel seems to work too
[20:31:31] <orlock> using a pair of optical endstop sensors i didnt use
[20:31:38] <orlock> and a printed encoder wheel
[20:31:52] <Tom_L> get that all worked out?
[20:32:18] <orlock> Yeha, i think so - last test was working reasonably well
[20:32:31] <orlock> better than expected even
[20:33:02] <orlock> i reprinted some parts to eliminate slop, hoping that will resolve some niggly issues
[20:33:57] <orlock> depending on how i was turning the encoder, it wasnt reading pulses properly
[20:35:37] <orlock> and i suspect it was just the pressure of my finger taking up soe slack and throwing the position off a bit
[21:04:31] <rue_house> hmm 6pm and dark
[21:04:45] <rue_house> guess I'll work on the boiler tommorow
[21:06:40] <rue_house> orlock, didn't see it
[21:07:00] <rue_house> :( I have to go shopping
[23:18:02] <rue_shop3> k, well, good progress on the new 3d printer
[23:18:25] <rue_shop3> fixing the design flaws of the normal i2 are working out
[23:19:41] <rue_shop3> tho, I didn't think to push back the entire verticle stand so that by the time the overhang is done with it, the extruder is in the middle
[23:24:59] <disconected> Questions
[23:30:53] <rue_shop3> whats a question?
[23:41:34] <z64555> A question is a type of sentence, asking about the subject of the subject. "What is a question?" Is asking what a question is.
[23:41:41] <z64555> </smartass>
[23:42:05] <rue_shop3> I'm not so sure of this, please provide an example.
[23:44:50] <z64555> I already provided an example. :P
[23:45:08] <rue_shop3> I need 3
[23:45:18] <z64555> lol
[23:45:46] <rue_shop3> one to set a base, one to set a pattern, and one to confirm it.
[23:56:22] <rue_house> to keep an open source project alive you need to keep rolling it into new projects
