[09:52:58] <fuso_illo> hello
[19:56:15] <rue_house> .
[19:57:25] <orlock> threads in openscad take a reaaaallly looong tiiime to render
[19:59:33] <orlock> rue_house: Hows your printer going?
[19:59:42] <orlock> i'm looking at some chinese upgrades
[20:47:32] <Tom_itx> typically cad doesn't show threads for that reason they show the data for them but don't render them
[20:48:01] <Tom_itx> openscad isn't one of your better cad packages anyway
[21:23:57] <rue_house> fine, printed stuff yesterday
[21:24:07] <orlock> awesome
[21:24:11] <orlock> got pics?
[21:24:48] <orlock> i need to solder up some connectors to a uln2803 to use instead of the pair of 2003's
[21:25:15] <orlock> the amount i will cut down the PCB real estate doing that will let me use a $3 arduino shield instead of a sheet of protoboard
[21:25:47] <orlock> and i should be able to get away with a 9 pin serial header cable for the breakout interface
[22:09:32] <rue_shop5> erm, those microstepping current controlled drivers are $3 and do a great job
[22:41:06] <rue_shop5> ok the table is bolted down to the Y slider
[22:41:13] <rue_shop5> now to finish the y slider
