17:11 GuShH rue_more: ok so for sae 1010 you need flood coolant or a very generous stream of cutting oil, there's no way around that.

17:18 GuShH made a tiny 6mm "gage" will try and get it as close as possible once I get a couple micrometers, to compare against caliper measurements it should be plenty good.
