00:01 GargantuaSauce chocolate coated asbestos fibres
00:01 GuShH_ yum
00:01 GuShH_ sprinkled with asbestos dust
00:02 GuShH_ confectioner's asbestos!
07:41 anton164 Given this robot: http://i.imgur.com/kksiDhr.png, I have found the denavit hartenberg parameters from the start till the end of L2, then I can create a transformation matrix from those, but to find the transformation matrix from the base (start of L1) till the tool (end of L4), would I have to multiply with the transformation matrices for L1, L3 and L4?
12:58 GuShH_ is anton164's link showing a ketchup dispenser?
12:58 GuShH_ rich fucks instead of wasting money on ketchup dispensers go help someone! jeez.
13:00 GargantuaSauce_ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcniyQYFU6M
15:06 GuShh_Lap2 GargantuaSauce_: so stupid I don't even know where to begin.
15:07 GargantuaSauce_ no you're wrong
15:07 GargantuaSauce_ that is one of the best videos on all of youtube
15:07 GuShh_Lap2 but at least it was funny
15:07 GuShh_Lap2 if it wasn't funny however...
15:10 GuShh_Lap2 why. must. it. rain.
15:11 GargantuaSauce_ it's snowing so hard i can't see the building across the street
15:12 GuShh_Lap2 here it's raining so lightly if I work outside my tools will rust ever so slightly.
15:12 GuShh_Lap2 (refurbishing the dog's kennel... it's virgin wood at the moment, don't want it to get wet)
15:16 GuShh_Lap2 GargantuaSauce_: http://i.imgur.com/DywptF8.gif
15:17 GargantuaSauce_ noice
15:17 GuShh_Lap2 that's one quick way to get both drunk and fat, assuming it's beer
15:17 GuShh_Lap2 "I knew this machine would turn out useful"
17:16 anton164 Anyone here good with inverse kinematics? I’ll leave a question :)
17:17 anton164 I have the following manipulator http://i.imgur.com/rsYanXA.png?1 and need to derive the inverse kinematic equations.
17:17 anton164 My book only shows how to simplify the inverse kinematics problem with a six-DOF manipulator with a spherical wrist through kinematic decoupling, so I’m a bit puzzled at where I should begin, I’m having a hard time finding resources.
17:46 Duzz Hey does anyone here do any work with UAVs?
17:47 Duzz Im looking for an article on modeling the accuracy of positional tracking using accelerometers and gyroscopes, not really sure where to get started
18:59 ShH_ dispenses ketchup all over anto
19:00 anton164 GuShH_ haha, what’s up?
19:09 MrCurious 1/2 more days of work
19:09 MrCurious hen 15 days off, then new job
19:09 GuShH_ that's not a good sign
19:10 GuShH_ is it such a bad job you divided the day in multiple portions?
19:10 GuShH_ "can't wait to get he hell out of here"
19:33 GargantuaSauce_ Duzz: my impression is that it's hopeless
19:33 GargantuaSauce_ you're integrating a lot of noise
19:33 GargantuaSauce_ use kalman filtering with gps
19:34 Duzz yea thats basically what I want to do
19:34 Duzz so I can figure out the width of the PDF after say 240sec
19:34 GargantuaSauce_ check out the uavp project
19:34 Duzz unfortunatly im not using the stuff for a UAV but instead for a high power rocket
19:35 Duzz I was just hoping that the UAV community was a bit more common and they might have more research available for accelerometers and gyros etc
19:36 GargantuaSauce_ well i say check out uavp because i believe their systems are well generalized and potentially documented
19:36 Duzz thanks a lot
19:36 GargantuaSauce_ as opposed to every other open uav project which are neither of those things
19:37 Duzz documentation isnt the fun part and few people appreciate how important it is
19:37 GargantuaSauce_ ahhh there was someone on freenode who designed the imu for some military thing, cant remember who though
19:38 Duzz I wanted to try and do some initial study into it to compare to the accuracy I have figured I can get with radio
