13:41 sazawal I wrote a code on Backpropagation algorithm of Neural Networks. After attaining a minima my solution is diverging, though I have taken step small enough. The error reaches a minima and then goes on increasing. My question is, why it is going in a direction where error is increasing, though I have used the steepest descent method? Shouldn't it come back to previous minima when already passed it?
14:10 sazawal In steepest descent method of optimization, if I have taken sufficiently small step size, the algorithm should come back to the local minima after passing through it. Is it possible that after reaching minima, the algorithm diverges?
