01:54 zhanx yep personal
01:54 zhanx work is ummm work
01:55 DagoRed understood
01:56 DagoRed I'm trying to figure out what to do next.... it's hard to get a more traditional engineering position after being out of the field a bit.
01:56 zhanx tomorrow i am setting u my reflow station and soldering stuff
01:56 zhanx up*
01:57 DagoRed cool!
01:57 zhanx new keyboard seems my area is to big for it
01:58 zhanx damn mouse
02:00 DagoRed mis click?
02:01 zhanx not as bad as my hammering skill my thumbs are sore
02:02 DagoRed heh
02:03 DagoRed Here is my hackerspace.... we're still young but for $20/yr? Amazing. https://plus.google.com/photos/109949688482874009640/albums/5807767327784872113
02:04 DagoRed So much space... Rue would love it.
02:13 goRed is sl
02:13 DagoRed I'm off to bed. g'night
08:57 rue_mohr hmm
08:57 rue_mohr old factory or train house?
08:58 rue_mohr must be factory
09:01 rue_mohr looks like a buildig that gets cold in winter :/
09:02 rue_mohr pretty good tho
20:38 rue_mohr I made a few resempler programs today
20:39 rue_mohr rezembler
20:47 rue_mohr addnoutput.rz
20:47 rue_mohr countup.rz
20:47 rue_mohr countup2.rz
20:47 rue_mohr inprogdata.rz
20:47 rue_mohr loop.rz
20:47 rue_mohr main.rz
20:47 rue_mohr negitive.rz
20:47 Tom_L what's .rz?
20:47 rue_mohr resembler
20:47 Tom_L but what is it?
20:47 rue_mohr text
20:48 Tom_L had a run on programmers today for some crazy reason
20:48 rue_mohr 4 1 4 8 7 10 -1 8 4 -8 2 48 7 10 1 8 11 -15 15 5
20:48 rue_mohr that program outputs a countto 5
20:49 rue_mohr cool
20:50 rue_mohr do you think you dont want to run out of stock?
20:50 Tom_itx i need a few parts now
20:50 Tom_itx i made what i had all the parts for
20:50 Tom_itx i'm lacking a couple things to make more
20:50 rue_mohr leds?
20:50 Tom_itx the level converters i finally ran out of
20:51 rue_mohr ah
20:51 Tom_itx i need to check my spreadsheet and see
20:52 Tom_itx oh i ran out of enclosures too i think
20:53 rue_mohr the lathe is ordered
20:53 rue_mohr shipping will be expensive
20:53 rue_mohr and moving to the shop will be really hard
20:53 Tom_itx nice
20:54 Tom_itx yeah you better have a lift of some sort
20:54 Tom_itx what's it weigh?
20:54 Tom_itx 1500 lbs?
20:54 rue_mohr 400
20:54 Tom_itx that's it?
20:55 rue_mohr well, maybe 30 lbs of accessories
20:57 Tom_itx what extras did you get?
20:58 rue_mohr knurling tool
20:58 rue_mohr parting holder and blade
20:59 rue_mohr left hand carbide cutter holder
20:59 rue_mohr right hand " " "
20:59 Tom_itx what did you want a knurling tool for?
20:59 rue_mohr straight " " "
20:59 Tom_itx yeah i got all 3 holders too
20:59 rue_mohr 1 titanium cutting bit
20:59 Tom_itx ti coated?
20:59 rue_mohr 4 other untreated carbide bits
20:59 Tom_itx no need
21:00 rue_mohr I dont think the coating does much of anything
21:00 Tom_itx it does
21:00 rue_mohr uncoated is 1/2 the price
21:00 Tom_itx on regular steel
21:00 Tom_itx well some of the new coatings are pretty tough
21:00 rue_mohr 1/2" chuck
21:00 Tom_itx #2MT?
21:00 rue_mohr adapter for size 1 tapers, adapter for size 2 tapers (lathe is size 3)
21:01 rue_mohr and a life centre
21:01 Tom_itx one thing you maybe should have gotten was a thread cutter bit
21:01 Tom_itx but you can grind one
21:01 Tom_itx it's just nice to have it all ready done
21:01 Tom_itx for internal and external
21:02 rue_mohr I have a bunch of HSS stocks
21:02 Tom_itx o
21:02 Tom_itx i've made cutters from old drill bits
21:02 Tom_itx when i needed something special
21:02 rue_mohr I keep old bits
21:03 Tom_itx i got a box full
21:04 Tom_itx so when should it arrive?
21:05 rue_mohr dunno
21:05 Tom_itx via truck?
21:05 Tom_itx or you gotta pick it up at a local shop?
21:09 rue_mohr they are gonna drop off in a powergate truck
21:09 rue_mohr then its my problem
21:09 Tom_itx well have em drop it off inside the shop then it's not much of a problem :)
21:10 Tom_itx we move a bridgeport around on plumbing pipe pretty easy
21:10 rue_mohr I dont yet know how to get it inot hte shop
21:10 rue_mohr Ihave to build a table
21:13 Tom_itx pry bars and manual labor
21:15 rue_mohr 400lbs 90 feet uphill
21:16 Tom_itx they won't back it up the hill before they unload it?
21:16 Tom_itx i bet they will
21:16 Tom_itx so make an adjustable wagon to set it on
21:17 rue_mohr yea, I have the lawn tractor can pull
21:59 rue_shop3 no space there
21:59 rue_shop3 drat
21:59 rue_shop3 a gap in the table was deffinitly larger in my mind
22:00 rue_shop3 wow, I ahve to displace a lot of stuff
22:03 rue_shop3 oo I found the 049 engies again
22:06 rue_shop3 I need to highgrade like I'v never highraded before
22:07 e_shop3 throws out an old circuit board with a good capacitor o
22:07 rue_shop3 arg, this is hard
22:08 m_itx releases a few butterf
22:09 e_shop3 chases one of the butterf
22:09 e_shop3 s
22:09 rue_shop3 HEY! cut that out...
22:10 rue_shop3 arg, so much good stuff
22:11 rue_shop3 like this peice of red wire, sure its been stepped on a few times, but its a good guage for a small project, its stranded wire too
22:11 rue_shop3 and this brown one other here, its been on the floor a while, so see? its really straight now
22:12 rue_shop3 oo two 1/2hp washing machine motors, those are for a tractor one day
22:13 rue_shop3 oo and a 4 drive scsi external drive bay
22:13 rue_shop3 gotta put dvd drives in there some day
22:31 rue_shop3 the shops balance of materials to working space is out
22:35 Tom_itx i got some mods for you to add to the arduino pin files one of these days
23:07 rue_shop3 ? what do they do for me?
23:09 Tom_itx add extra io not mapped on the 2560
23:09 Tom_itx in the arduino environment
23:10 Tom_itx i need to check for sure to see if the pins are brought out to a header though
23:10 rue_shop3 ok I kept 5 walkmans and portable tape decks for using as audio players and program storage for robots
23:10 Tom_itx i'm out.
23:10 rue_shop3 its not like they are replacable
23:10 rue_shop3 shall I upgrade them to the meuseum?
23:12 rue_shop3 the portables are mono
23:13 rue_shop3 the walkmans are not as good as my good walkman
23:14 rue_shop3 I'm definitly running out of tape handling hwardware
23:15 rue_shop3 mainly cause my highgrading loses decks with nonworking belts, which is most of them
23:21 home portable nerf turrets..
23:21 home how much would they sell for?
23:21 home have them shooting at people XD
23:28 rue_shop3 what do I do with like 16 1200V, 400A SCR's?
23:45 Triffid_Hunter Tom_itx: have you seen the fastio.h that all the reprap firmwares use? I wrote that originally for teacup, it gets the preprocessor to do all the mapping and boils down to mere sbi/cbi asm instructions at runtime
23:46 Triffid_Hunter Tom_itx: trade-off is no runtime pin remapping, has to be hardcoded at compile time
