17:18 rue_house no, its all damned proprietory equiptment
17:19 katsmeow-afk ok, is changing your mind as simple as thinking about other things?
17:19 katsmeow-afk and, if you are all concerned and thinking about "x" now, will you be a new person if you are all concerned about "y" and thinking only of it, later?
17:29 katsmeow-afk i ask because if the memory leaks are cleaned up, praps Tiggr can change her mind as fast as 500 times per second
17:30 katsmeow-afk admittedly, it's just changing saying "hello", nothing fancy like making soup in someone else's kitchen in a boat while in Somalia under attack
17:54 rue_house no, I thinkthat changing ones mind is a matter of evolving an oppinion about a specific task, if you switch to task y your oppinion of task x is where you left it pending you dont have a siv for a memory
18:01 katsmeow-afk a siv ?

21:48 katsmeow-afk Researchers at Samsung have developed a smart phone that can detect people's emotions. Rather than relying on specialized sensors or cameras, the phone infers a user's emotional state based on how he's using the phone.
21:48 katsmeow-afk For example, it monitors certain inputs, such as the speed at which a user types, how often the "backspace" or "special symbol" buttons are pressed, and how much the device shakes. These measures let the phone postulate whether the user is happy, sad, surprised, fearful, angry, or disgusted, says Hosub Lee, a researcher with Samsung Electronics and the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology's Intelligence Group, in South Korea.
21:48 katsmeow-afk Lee led the work on the new system. He says that such inputs may seem to have little to do with emotions, but there are subtle correlations between these behaviors and one's mental state, which the software's machine-learning algorithms can detect with an accuracy of 67.5 percent.
21:48 home katsmeow-afk: that's amazing
21:49 home katsmeow-afk: given how simple some emotions are
21:49 theBear lol, 67.5% accuracy, AMAZING
