00:01 rue_house furrywolf, your right, but I dont have a deivce I can push the data to
00:01 furrywolf ah
00:02 furrywolf bbl, ned
00:02 rue_house I think it'll get past the erros and be mostly fine
00:02 furrywolf bed

01:02 i-make-robots www.indiegogo.com/robots-for-schools
01:02 i-make-robots thank you!
01:46 GuShH http://web.media.mit.edu/~raskar//trillionfps/
01:48 DagoRed that is awesome
01:48 GuShH but it's not what everyone instantly thinks it is.
01:48 GuShH they spend hours if not longer to sample the scene, which has to be static.
01:49 GuShH ie. the media made it sound as if they've got a camera that can record at that speed, like if it were a regular camera... fucking idiots.
01:50 DagoRed It's no different with how oscilloscopes work.
01:51 DagoRed For really high speed ones there is only sampled scopes which in essence work about the same on a high level perspective as the femto-photography.
01:52 GuShH right
01:52 ShH would like to destroy most if not all journal
01:58 katsmeow-afk "really high speed" ?
02:00 katsmeow-afk the 7B15 timebase will sweep a 7912 or 7104 at 200 pico-sec per division, and the 7912 will digitise the signal a few 100 times at 8bits over the screen width
02:05 katsmeow-afk The search for solar 2bpanel sspagename srch knm urlm is very popular on eBay Classifieds. As of today there are 0 ads for solar 2bpanel sspagename srch knm urlm in the Housing category.
06:07 rue_bed both the damned cats are missing
06:07 rue_bed one of them always comes in for the night
06:54 rue_bed one cat just came in, the one that likes to stay out
06:54 rue_bed where is the one that always comes in
11:09 furrywolf bah, seed prices... $2 for 35 seeds, $50 for 3600 seeds.
11:10 furrywolf if you want something in the middle, you spend too much!
11:12 furrywolf I got a 50W HPS light, might use that for my seedlings... the LEDs I used before just didn't work well enough.
11:27 rrywolf pokes around katsmeow-afk's kitchen for break
11:43 rrywolf sighs and wanders off to find food without
11:44 furrywolf bah, except it's time to go to work, so no food for wolfies
14:46 furrywolf last time I ordered checks, they were $7. now they're $24. it wasn't THAT long ago.
14:47 GuShH it checks out with this economy...
15:01 furrywolf I have a new theory. I've always figured watts were like kilometers, the same size everywhere in the world. but this is wrong! the watt is like the gallon, and is bigger in some countries than others. For example, the chinese watt is about a third the size of an american watt. How else do you explain how my 600W american inverter happily starts and runs a 1/2hp motor, while my 600W chinese inverter shuts down on any non-resistive lo
15:08 GuShH lol
15:08 GuShH they run on economy watts
15:08 GuShH ie. green watts.
15:09 GuShH except the green watt is secretly 1 watt times pi.
15:09 ShH wonders where to buy inline water traps for cheap, on
15:10 GuShH I don't think these are worth as much http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OIL-WATER-SEPARATOR-TRAP-MINI-FILTER-IN-LINE-FOR-AIR-TOOL-1-4-BSP-FITTING-/261007421590?pt=AU_Air_Tools&hash=item3cc5413096
15:14 furrywolf GuShH: those are $2.99 locally. (harbor freight tools)
15:15 GuShH furrywolf: they are about 10 usd locally, but the stores are too far away and the cost of fuel makes it as expensive as the ebay item I just pasted.
15:15 GuShH furrywolf: assuming you wanted to, how much would it cost you to ship them? if it turns out cheaper than the ebay item I might go for it.
15:16 furrywolf probably not. heh.
15:17 ShH p
15:20 GuShH not even in bigger quantities?
15:20 furrywolf dunno
15:20 furrywolf where are you, again?
15:20 GuShH Argentina
15:26 GuShH ok this is new for me... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Viking-Air-Tools-Air-Powered-Worklight-V2000-/330779997549?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d0406356d&vxp=mtr
15:27 GuShH question is, why.
15:28 furrywolf heh, that's cute. lets you stick a light on your air tools that doesn't need batteries. not sure about its actual usefulness, however...
15:28 GuShH when you sand you don't want direct light onto the surface, so they have no point in that regard. Shock... questionable, sand blaster... you won't see a thing anyway. I only like that it's inline with the tool.
15:28 GuShH but it may well restrict the airflow for all I know.
15:29 GuShH I just saw a pneumatic chainsaw on ebay as well, I wasn't aware those existed.
15:30 GuShH the local fire dpt. uses regular sthil chainsaws
15:30 furrywolf hydraulic chainsaws are common too
15:30 GuShH they have the jaws of life which are hydraulic, not sure if their big cutting tools are hydraulic
15:32 ShH is reminded of the lack of local laws regarding automotive manufacturers and fire extinguish
15:33 GuShH why must you buy the kit yourself?, it should already come with the car. I think even the high end cars are stripped of their original extinguisher because "it's not up to spec"
15:34 GuShH as a plus, the insurance company should refill it for you at no charge.
15:35 furrywolf 5lbs to argentina shipped usps is $45, or $48 for up to 20lbs as long as it fits within 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" or 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".
15:35 GuShH o.o
15:36 GuShH aren't these things about < 100 grams a box (per unit)
15:36 furrywolf you said in bulk
15:36 GuShH well, 10 tops.
15:37 GuShH I don't have a money growing tree, yet.
15:37 furrywolf you can buy seeds for those for about $1/each around here.
15:37 GuShH plus I couldn't legally get more than that without having to answer to the customs officer.
15:37 GuShH I don't like "officers" in general.
15:38 GuShH That includes lesser assholes like security guards.
15:41 GuShH Yesterday we almost chased one around at the store. It was 8PM, at 9PM they close. There is a local law that prohibits the sale of alcohol after 9PM. The guy thought it was at 8 so he wouldn't let us through, until I got tired of it and told him to fuck off and we just walked in. He literally ran away. Then on the way out I saw the same guy not letting a girl through the store because it was "closed" (but it wasn't 9PM yet)...
15:41 GuShH They are obviously hired for their lack of brains. This is the second encounter I've had with a security guard from the same store chain.
15:41 GuShH Except this one didn't gang up, he just ran away.
15:42 furrywolf those jobs attract people who like being assholes.
15:43 GuShH Previously one of these guys wouldn't let a handicapped person park their car on the handicap spot, which drove me nuts.
15:44 GuShH They aren't even armed, all they have is a uniform.
15:44 GuShH And their testosterone.
15:46 ShH is basically more armed at any given point in time than any of those guards are or have been in their entire "career"... how can they ever provide security to any
15:50 furrywolf bbl, time for work
21:12 furrywolf grrr, fucking ebay hinge for the fuel door on my new car doesn't fit.
21:18 furrywolf grrrrr, and my connection is sucking too badly to load web pages, such as needed to complain on ebay.
21:20 furrywolf and my replacement grille arrived with broken clips, which do not seem to be in the packaging, meaning it was shipped already broken.
21:21 furrywolf so I can do neither of the car projects I bought parts for.
21:21 katsmeow-afk yeas, sellers don't think to include the broken pieces inside the shrinkwrap so the carrier can be blamed
21:23 furrywolf oh well, -1 clip is close enough. bbl, installing.
21:36 katsmeow-afk good grief what a big car : http://www.steamautomobile.com/images/SACAmain/SAv2n2.jpg
21:47 furrywolf this grille deserves negative feedback.
21:47 furrywolf utter fucking shit.
21:49 furrywolf half the not-already-broken snaps broke by the time I had it in the car, because the curvature of the grille doesn't match the curvature of the hood. you squeeze the two halves together, they snap, you let go... and the force from the mis-curve promptly breaks the thin, weak, extra-brittle peice of shit.
21:50 furrywolf I joined the two halves together with gorilla tape. it's much, much stronger than the snaps.
