00:05 furrywolf I tried mixing fertilizer into the top layer on some of them, and some of those I watered by hand instead of with the drip system. the ones I watered by hand have returned to a nice healthy dark green, while the ones on the drip system are just getting yellower.

09:23 rue_house GuShH, I had success (so far) with fine sand, plaster of paris, and vegitable oil (I think brake fluid should work too)

09:25 GuShH It's for some radiator valve handles that I couldn't buy anywhere because no one makes them anymore, so I'll need to cast them out of something. Alu is ideal, otherwise some hard plastic or resin could work, as long as it doesn't mind being at 80°C constantly and won't be brittle enough to break if you force it a little.
