01:15 rue_house what that usefull for?
11:22 SolarNRG Morning
11:22 SolarNRG soz about last night
11:22 SolarNRG i was a bit drunk
11:52 hackkitten SolarNRG > we all were
11:53 hackkitten wait, what are we talking about again?
11:53 Steffanx Nothing probably
12:01 SolarNRG I've ordered some latex
12:01 SolarNRG I'm going to coat my really large gears in them
12:01 SolarNRG and make wax duplicates
12:01 SolarNRG I then might need your help to make an induction melter
12:01 SolarNRG As I think my microwave has as far failed to deliver
12:02 Steffanx Gave up on the microwave melting?
12:04 SolarNRG I'm doing something wrong
12:04 SolarNRG I think there is a way
12:04 SolarNRG But none of the ways I have attempted
12:12 ace4016 they sell induction smelters
12:12 rue_shop you want to do a resistive element yet?
12:19 SolarNRG resistive won't allow me to do steel
12:19 SolarNRG aluminium is too soft for gears
12:20 rue_shop you cant do steel anyhow
12:20 rue_shop ugh
12:20 SolarNRG not with induction?
12:20 rue_shop you should start with aluminum, once you can do that you can work to other metals
12:20 rue_shop actaully, starting with solder could be educational
12:21 rue_shop if you get too pickey about how your going to be doing it, you will never get anything done
12:21 rue_shop dont let people discourage you from doing simple things, they have access to stuff you dont
12:21 ace4016 well, his method for the microwave, if he could find the silicon carbide crucible, could melt softer metals like gold, silver, etc.
12:21 ace4016 he'll just need something different for higher melting metals :P
12:23 rue_shop melting the metal is the easy part, casting is pretty finickey
12:24 ace4016 steel is also an alloy...and there are processes that need to be done to produce something decent
12:24 rue_shop you can even do some lost wax resin casting
12:24 rue_shop you can do aluminum with a stove element
12:26 SolarNRG silicon carbide has a melting point of 2700
12:27 SolarNRG I've tried silicon carbide around graphite with not much success, do you think a Si-C crucible might work?
12:27 SolarNRG I mean I've sussed the insulation bit of it
12:27 SolarNRG My problem is the microwaev absorbtion, I'm not soaking up enough microwave energy and turning it into heat
12:27 rue_shop please give up on the microwave,
12:27 rue_shop even if it works it will waste over half the power it consumes
12:28 SolarNRG :( As much as it pains me to say this Rue, you are right. I thought I could make a novel way of melting metals, I thought I was onto a winner, but I think it is time to face facts that the microwave is not efficient energy nor timewise
12:29 rue_shop I had a self propelled lawnmower with aluminum gears that pushed a pushed a gocart for 3 years before the aluminum wore out
12:31 rue_shop http://eds.dyndns.org/~ircjunk/images/p1020701.jpg
12:31 rue_shop thats about 1/4 of the bars I made
12:32 SolarNRG How about zinc gears?
12:32 SolarNRG Its quite hard
12:32 SolarNRG low melting point
12:32 rue_shop no, do alum
12:32 SolarNRG why?
12:32 rue_shop well I think the fumes from zink are wose for ya
12:32 SolarNRG zinc is easier to melt than ally
12:33 SolarNRG True
12:33 SolarNRG Makes me cough
12:33 rue_shop yes, if you can get ahold of the zink I suppose its worth a try
12:33 rue_shop nomatter what metal your melting, dont stand over it and inhale deeply
12:34 ace4016 kind of cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6Zrnv4OtbU&feature=related
12:34 SolarNRG One problem I see with induction is I need at least 3kw of electrcity
12:34 SolarNRG My extension lead can only output 2.4kw
12:35 SolarNRG I can't find a UK supplier of pre-built induction loops
12:35 SolarNRG I have the copper pipe
12:35 SolarNRG I have the arduino
12:35 SolarNRG There's loads of stuff about how wide you make it and what frequency is best
12:36 SolarNRG Now if I want enough molten metal I'm thinking I want it really to be about 15cm in diameter
12:36 SolarNRG Can you touch the loop whilst its on?
12:36 SolarNRG Or will you get a fatty electric shock?
12:41 ace4016 touching the loop would be like touching an antenna
12:41 ace4016 you'll get radiation burned
12:41 ace4016 especially with something that high powered
12:41 ace4016 most antenna in our daily lives don't pass 1W (well...the devices that we carry around :P)
12:42 SolarNRG So not an electrocution, but radiation, can I touch it with tongs and still not get electrocuted?
12:43 SolarNRG Is there a UK supplier of these or am I better off making it myself?
12:43 ace4016 the possibility of electrocution is still there iirc
12:43 SolarNRG I do'nt have an oscilloscope
12:43 SolarNRG So turn it off, then take the crucible out
12:44 ace4016 why do you need ot take the crucivle out?
12:44 ace4016 also, I don't think the crucible is used for anything more than holding the material; not heating
13:05 SolarNRG I'm thinking either a silicon carbide or a tantalum crucible would be suitable for melting steel
13:07 ace4016 wouldn't matter tbh
13:07 ace4016 it wouldn't be absorbing much heat
13:14 SolarNRG Are you telling me it isn't possible to have a cup of some molten steel to pour into a mold with induction?
13:17 rue_shop learn to write hello world before trying to write an graphical operating system
13:18 rue_shop I have an unusually low count of kids today
13:18 Steffanx I have the same problem with old man :P
13:18 rue_shop ?
13:18 Steffanx *men
13:19 Steffanx Nothing, ignore me
13:20 rue_shop imperial is stupid, I'm down to 64th now trying to locate connectors on this bracket...
13:23 ace4016 SolarNRG, no, i'm saying that you just need a container that can handle the temperature and is nearly invisible to the EM field; pouring out to a mold would just mean the coil wrapped around the container needs to be rotated together (like it is in most foundaries)
13:45 Tom_itx holy crap batman! rue_shop is still alive
13:46 rue_shop ?
13:50 Tom_itx you have been missing an unusual amount lately
14:00 SolarNRG Can't I just put a crucible inside the coil, then heat it up, then turn off the machine then pick it up with tongs then pour the crucible into the mold?
14:06 SolarNRG Can I make this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kuJ-FZBnok&feature=related
14:13 SolarNRG I mean can I buy one ready made?
14:16 rue_house get a steel cooking pot from the salvo, stick some bolts in the side to lify it out with, make a insulated chamber with the resistive element in the bottom
14:17 rue_house put a bunch of alum in the pot, hit it with heat, put a lid on it and wait
14:17 SolarNRG Sigh, ok I'll make an aluminium/zinc smelter
14:18 SolarNRG What do I want, the filament from cookers?
14:19 SolarNRG what just embed them in perlite cement mix and have a gap that can fit the bucket?
14:22 rue_house yes
14:22 rue_house a high wattage stovetop filament
14:26 SolarNRG Where can I buy them?
14:27 katsmeow-afk why not just use regular stove elements, without disassembling them for the bare filaments?
14:28 rue_house he's australlian, he dosn't call it an element, he calls it a filament
14:28 rue_house just like they dont say flashlight, they say torch
14:29 rue_house to us it sounds crazy to walk around in a dark house with a torch, but its perfectly normal over there.
14:29 SolarNRG http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/140513907911?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y
14:29 SolarNRG These?
14:29 rue_house na
14:30 SolarNRG I'm Scottish BTW, not Australian
14:30 rue_house its ok, your still crazy
14:30 rue_house http://www.ebay.ca/itm/WB30T10074-Genuine-GE-Range-Stove-Large-Unit-Burner-Calrod-Element-/380435667149?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5893bb98cd
14:31 rue_house like that
14:31 SolarNRG Would these filament element heater thingies work ok?
14:31 rue_house like the link I posted ^^^^
14:31 rue_house put the pot right on it
14:31 SolarNRG I can't buy that
14:31 SolarNRG I'll have to find a UK supplier
14:32 rue_house no, you go out to the repair shop and gt one free
14:32 rue_house from an old stove
14:32 rue_house your not gonna tell me thats too hard are ya?
14:33 SolarNRG Well its Saturday 8:21pm, tomorrows Sunday, everywhere is closed, and its a bank holiday monday
14:34 rue_house rome wasn't built in a day
14:35 katsmeow-afk solar, this is why some of us pick things up before we absolutely need them
14:35 rue_house no fair, he didnt' know what to need
14:35 katsmeow-afk specially if it's free and won't attract bugs
14:35 rue_house SolarNRG, is there a junkyard thats open?
14:36 rue_house ok I have to get dressed and go to work...
14:37 katsmeow-afk err, you been teaching kids all moring without getting dressed first??
14:39 SolarNRG I guess I took a wrong path
14:44 rue_house kids didn't show up today??
14:44 tsmeow-afk thinks the Pensa wire bender is a copy of a commercial tubing be
14:45 katsmeow-afk i forget it's name, but they stuck 20ft or longer lengths of tubing in it and bent exhaust pipe for cars in 3D shapes
14:46 katsmeow-afk it was really fast, did automated tool changes too
14:48 katsmeow-afk seen more manually operated ones in a fancy car garage, it was hour to make a whole length and took multiple tries, and manual bender jig changeouts for stock turns like tight 90's
14:49 katsmeow-afk tha automatic one had a torch to make the tubing less stiff
14:50 katsmeow-afk as needed
14:58 katsmeow-afk the automatic one has some balls or disks on a cable, in such a way the tubing won't collapse, but i dunno how they pull them out when done
15:01 katsmeow-afk i am too pewped to find any arrangement of words concerning cawling around unde the house to be enjoyable
15:19 mindw0rk rue_house, saw another entry in hackaday
15:19 mindw0rk how many features do you have already
15:20 katsmeow-afk rue tends to do one a day, as the site suggests
16:49 jeem hi
17:52 Tom_itx how hot do electric stove elements get when full on?
18:12 SolarNRG Some can reach 700c
18:13 SolarNRG according to my RS components catalog
18:20 Tom_itx i need to 'press' a part on a shaft with heat
18:20 Tom_itx that should be hot enough
18:45 katsmeow-afk well, cept on a stovetop element, sitting in the open, one end will be at the element temperature, and the rest will be significantly colder due to convection,, plus, the stove element can melt aluminum
18:46 katsmeow-afk it's one of those ymmv moments
18:47 katsmeow-afk (the moment may be a ymmv moment also)
18:49 SolarNRG Is there something else I could make gears out of that can be melted in a microwave, poured into a latex mold and still be quite hard and strong?
18:49 katsmeow-afk no, any metal you pour into a latex mold will melt/burm the mold away
18:50 SolarNRG resin?
18:50 SolarNRG wax?
18:50 Tom_itx katsmeow-afk you suggesting i should setscrew it instead?
18:50 SolarNRG acrylic?
18:50 SolarNRG polyamide
18:50 SolarNRG ?
18:50 SolarNRG HDPE?
18:50 Tom_itx ice
18:50 SolarNRG :)
18:50 SolarNRG ICE GEARS?
18:50 SolarNRG HMM
18:50 katsmeow-afk oh, resens with not-too-much hardener should do nicely, if you can keep it from sticking
18:51 Tom_itx resin
18:51 SolarNRG what sort?
18:51 Tom_itx are you a microwave dealer?
18:51 katsmeow-afk Tom, no, just saying i have always had better luck with an oven and none with a stove, but then i have noever done aluminum-on-steel
18:52 katsmeow-afk solar, all i have is "body fill" resin
18:52 Tom_itx i'm so tired tonight
18:52 katsmeow-afk a) cannot get anything else here, and b) don't want to pay to expereiment by shipping in assortments of other stuff
18:53 Tom_itx well katsmeow-afk it would be a .004 press
18:53 Tom_itx i dunno if that's too much
18:54 katsmeow-afk me either, i haven't worked with aluminum so much
18:54 tsmeow-afk asks her expert : Tom, is a .004 press too m
18:55 Tom_itx well if i screw it up, i'll be making another
18:56 katsmeow-afk a learning expereince for both of us
18:59 Tom_itx i spose i should heat the tool that will move it too
19:02 katsmeow-afk i would be tempted to set the hub in the press, set the axle and press shaft in place, remove the axle, lay a pipe-torch jig in place 10 minutes to heat the hub, then in 1 sec: remove heater, set axle, hit press "on" button
19:03 katsmeow-afk that's minimal movement, and you use both paws, and the hot thing that can burn you is not touched
19:03 Tom_itx i don't have a press
19:03 Tom_itx i have done this before but not with this small a shaft
19:04 Tom_itx i don't remember the tolerances
19:04 katsmeow-afk propane jig =====-| | , and you place is so the hub is in the | | where the fire is exiting from the ====-
19:04 katsmeow-afk ok
19:05 Tom_itx not sure i have the energy to try it tonight
19:06 katsmeow-afk i get one tv channel here, crap is on, i'l be either at keybd, sleeping, or working on stuff
19:06 Tom_itx i wore myself out yesterday now i'm paying for it
19:07 Tom_itx found a bruise on my arm i wasn't aware of, a bit swolen
19:07 katsmeow-afk all last week undid me, and i still have no running water, just a 2ft deep pool 15ft across outside hwere my workshop / tornado shelter was supposed to do before The Dog Era began
19:09 katsmeow-afk i need to blow sand at/into/thru hornets and wood borer bees, how much air pressure do i need?
19:10 katsmeow-afk fwiw, i am not targetting wasps and general bees
19:11 Tom_itx enough to discourage them from chasing you
19:12 katsmeow-afk no, i wanna kill them, they are boring thru the wood of the building i live in, destroying it, because some of the building never got stucco'd over, because of the dogs
19:14 katsmeow-afk it weakens a 2x4 like someone with a 1/2 bit drilled the lumber lengthways, several times
19:15 katsmeow-afk once there's 6 holes bores, the wood won't hold a screw, won't hold even itself up
19:15 katsmeow-afk and they tend to infect the holes with molds
19:15 Tom_itx huh
19:15 katsmeow-afk it's a great natural scheme to recycle downed trees to mulch, but this is my *house*
19:16 Tom_itx i walked out on a limb like that once
19:16 Tom_itx it was prolly 8" diameter
19:16 Tom_itx but like a sponge
19:16 katsmeow-afk yep
19:16 Tom_itx was supposed to bring the tree down
19:17 Tom_itx i was prepared for it though even if it was a surprise
19:17 katsmeow-afk glad you were ok then
19:17 Tom_itx i think i'm gonna take a nap for a couple hrs
19:18 katsmeow-afk happy dreams
19:18 Tom_itx i'm bushed
20:43 rue_house I'm back from work
20:43 rue_house 5 HOURS to move the 4 phone lines
20:53 rue_shop repeat, to Pete it again, but what if it wasn't Peted in the first place?
20:54 katsmeow-afk non, not re-peted, it's re-peated, as in, to apply peat (Partially carbonized vegetable matter saturated with water; used as a fuel when dried) , like as a mulch
20:55 SolarNRG Its not possible to melt titanium is it
20:56 katsmeow-afk with a nick like your's, yu should know better than to say that
20:56 SolarNRG I mean, I'm a joke, I can't even melt zinc
20:57 SolarNRG I'm sure billionairres with their fancy machines can
20:57 katsmeow-afk a solar furace can melt anything
20:57 SolarNRG You think I can melt titanium with a big enough parabolic mirror aligned with the sun?
20:57 katsmeow-afk titanium Melting point 1941 K, 1668 °C, 3034 °F
20:58 katsmeow-afk A solar furnace is a structure that captures sunlight to produce high temperatures, usually for industry. This is done with a curved mirror (or an array of mirrors) that acts as a parabolic reflector, concentrating light (Insolation) onto a focal point. The temperature at the focal point may reach 3,500 °C (6,330 °F),
20:58 katsmeow-afk 3,500C beats titanium's 1,668C by a huge margin
20:59 SolarNRG I got titanium dioxide powder
20:59 SolarNRG can I use the hi temp to turn it back into metal?
20:59 katsmeow-afk can you?
20:59 SolarNRG IDK, is the reaction reversible?
20:59 katsmeow-afk did you ever read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_furnace
21:00 SolarNRG I can make nanotubes with a mirror dish?
21:00 rue_shop SolarNRG, do the slum thing, it'll work ok for ya
21:00 SolarNRG I'm sat in front of one
21:00 rue_shop your rig was balanced, alum gears would last ya forever
21:01 SolarNRG zinc would 2
21:01 SolarNRG ok ok I'll get some heater elements on Monday
21:01 SolarNRG I'll mix up some sand, cement, perlite and have two buckets, one for the outer shell one for where the crucible will fit
21:01 furrywolf I gaurantee you that the sun can melt every atom of titanium on earth, if you launched it all into space and at the sun. :P
21:02 katsmeow-afk being that a carbon arc furnace is so hot it actually destroys atoms, that will also melt titanium
21:03 SolarNRG "destroy atoms" as in fission?
21:03 katsmeow-afk it will use a dawg-aweful amount of power to do so, and contamination might be a problem
21:03 katsmeow-afk no, it generates a plasma, it strips electrons off the atoms
21:04 SolarNRG Rue,,, how do I get the concrete perlite thingy hot but don't allow my wire from the extension lead to the furnace to get burned?
21:04 katsmeow-afk any molecules going thru an arc will not stay as molecules, everything is disassempled except nuclius of each atom
21:04 rue_shop SolarNRG, you make the tips of the element stick out the chamber
21:05 SolarNRG Won't the tips still get hot?
21:05 katsmeow-afk asbestos insulation (there's an electrical grade for that) and a fan on them
21:05 SolarNRG One socket for the element, one socket for the fan
21:05 rue_shop SolarNRG, you run stove wire off those, becuase they stick out they are significantly cooler
21:06 SolarNRG stove wire?
21:06 SolarNRG What fuse do I need?
21:06 katsmeow-afk socket? for a muffin fan off a dead cpu or video card or psu?
21:06 rue_shop 10A :)
21:06 tsmeow-afk quits calling for rue in
21:07 rue_shop why is peter so important, all these people have repeters, from what I figure, re-peter, is copying peter on all this information
21:07 rue_shop must make peter a busy guy
21:07 katsmeow-afk solar, the stovetop heaters on a stove don't burn up the stove wiring
21:08 katsmeow-afk usually
21:08 SolarNRG yeah but they aren't embedded in concrete and on full whack for long enough to reach 700c
21:08 katsmeow-afk tho i did see a stovetop with 14awg, it never worked
21:09 tsmeow-afk gives up and never
21:10 katsmeow-afk wtf is his problem?
21:10 rue_shop he needs to just try it
21:10 furrywolf take apart six microwaves, mount each magnetron to one side of a 4" metal cube with a hinged lid.
21:10 katsmeow-afk but he quit
21:12 tsmeow-afk leaves garf because rue won't talk or even join there to talk to
21:13 furrywolf what's garf?
21:15 Tom_itx a secret
21:16 e_shop works on battery clips for bu
21:16 dumbass it's a channel where my precense keeps rue, the owner, out
21:16 rue_shop HEY
21:16 rue_shop who are you to say that?
21:17 rue_shop oh wait a sec
21:17 rue_shop KAT!
21:17 Tom_itx i think his pc dropped out
21:17 dumbass his?
21:18 Tom_itx well, shop anyway
21:18 rue_shop I'm not imnipitent ya know geez
21:18 Tom_itx rue_shop you been extra busy lately?
21:18 dumbass all i know is rue wouldn't talk to me in either channel
21:19 rue_shop no robotics kids showd up today, and then I had to go to work for 5 hours
21:19 rue_shop so I'm chillin in the shop working on the hexapod
21:20 rue_shop i was gone
21:21 rue_shop grr my nuts are too big
21:21 Tom_itx so why you ignoring kat?
21:21 rue_shop I ignore everyone equally, kat just takes more offense to it than everyone else
21:21 Tom_itx oh
21:23 Tom_itx this universal remote is pretty much worthless on this tv
21:52 rue_house where did kat stomp off to?
22:15 dumbass i'm right damned here
22:16 furrywolf no, you can't be kat, because she isn't a dumbass.
22:16 rue_house I tried to answer but your not there
22:18 fckng_stupid i am not there because you wouldn't talk to me no matter where i was
22:18 rue_house you DO know I was at work for 5 hours today
22:18 rue_house after robotics
22:24 rrywolf curls up next to kat and y
22:27 rue_house ok I have sligtly less than 24 hours to figure out what I do when I'm not working and do it
22:29 NotWorthCr4p nicks using "shit" are "Erroneous Nickname"
22:30 furrywolf and wrong.
22:30 rrywolf disagrees with these n
22:31 NotWorthCr4p i wanted to discuss someting important with rue, he wanted to ignore me for giggles, meaning i cannot have a business he is involved in, sorta screws it for me, doncha think?
22:32 furrywolf your worth is not defined by when rue answers.
22:32 NotWorthCr4p close enough
22:35 rue_house hmm cant draw the muzzel of a dragon right
22:36 NotWorthCr4p muzzle
22:41 NotWorthCr4p furry, my worh has been defined by a neighbor sic'ing dogs on me, by the water co not making a phone call to keep my water on, by being told i am worth maybe as much as a cat, by no one hiring me, by not being able to buy a date to see a movie, etc etc
22:42 furrywolf you need to move... although being hired anywhere is pretty hard right now. I wouldn't be going to work at random times day or night if I could find something better...
22:42 NotWorthCr4p i might be worth my weight in dog food or compost, not sure tho
22:42 e_house puts a bandaid on kat and tries to get some more air into
22:43 NotWorthCr4p furry, to where would i move? it's the same everywhere irl, and even on irc
22:43 furrywolf I haven't noticed those problems on the west coast.
22:43 m_itx wonders what to do with these experimental p
22:44 NotWorthCr4p i cannot afford to live on the west coast, i've been priced out of all living space there
22:44 Tom_itx kat has gone is seems
22:44 NotWorthCr4p and now Tom is not going to send me the parts
22:45 Tom_itx NotWorthCr4p, you are an imposter, you are not kat
22:46 Tom_itx she had a project she wanted to do that needed a bit of assistance so i offered to help and now she's disappeared
22:46 NotWorthCr4p and my words that i am here are worthless
22:48 rrywolf doesn't think kat is worth
22:50 NotWorthCr4p the materials i collected on the desk behind me for the stuff Tom was working on, is all wasted
22:51 rue_house ok well I need your help on something in a min
22:52 NotWorthCr4p ok well i cannot get your attention on something
22:52 rue_house I'm here, wat do you want
22:52 rue_house I'm sitting at my computer, I'v had two p&j sandwhiches that I THINK I'm gonna call supper ..
22:53 NotWorthCr4p you already showed me it doesn't matter
22:53 furrywolf I just called a box of crackers supper. too exhausted to do much.
22:53 rue_house no I just drew it

22:57 rue_house can ANYONE tell me why it dosn't look like a frog!? I was verry methodical
23:00 rue_house maybe If I start with the tail next time
23:09 NotWorthCr4p since rue can ignore me, and Tom not send parts, i think i won't bother with the cellar yet again
23:16 rue_house can you tell me why it dosn't look like a frog?
23:16 rue_house I'm not ignoring you
23:17 NotWorthCr4p you did
23:17 rue_house I was 20km away, working on moving 4 phone lines in a medical office
23:17 rue_house 2 of them were easy, only took an hour, the other 2 took 4 hours
23:17 NotWorthCr4p we were both talking to solarng, you ignored me
23:18 rue_house when!?
23:18 NotWorthCr4p WHEN we were both talking to solarng, you ignored me
23:18 rue_house I was prolly off drilling the new battery bracket for buddy3
23:18 rue_house if your happily talking along to somone I dont scroll back, I presume your happily conversing along
23:20 furrywolf and my internet connection sucks, so I randomly drop offline, and the bouncer is too stupid to give me a proper recap.

23:25 rue_house I was thinking of making an electron microscope
23:25 rue_house but my interest in what electrons look like dwindled
23:26 furrywolf lol. I glanced at the screen, saw that line briefly, and figured it must be azonenberg with a new project.
23:27 rue_house hmmm, unfurry wolf?
23:27 e_house reaches for the shave

23:32 rue_house where, to pull up a seat, I'm able
23:33 rue_house and so I think and so I do
23:33 furrywolf I need to build a workbench... but that's more money I don't have.
23:33 rue_house I take a break when I need to drink
23:34 rue_house ths sun goes up and the sun goes down
23:34 furrywolf pretty sad that even $50 of wood for a workbench is out of my budget right now. :(
23:34 rue_house but I dont get to see it, cause I'm working in town
23:34 rue_house and the project they sit and wait for me
23:35 rue_house piled on the shelvs, three by three
23:35 NotWorthCr4p and i hardly see the point of projects anymore, so i'll sit here and cry
23:35 rrywolf hugs kat. crying is bad.
23:35 rue_house its not futile, convince here I try
23:37 NotWorthCr4p i bought stuff to make a project that Tom won't send me parts for any more, i was going to clean up the cellar and talk to rue about a robot business, and i am not worth shit

23:58 NotWorthCr4p with a motor?
23:59 furrywolf oh, didn't see you say motor, just rotor... building your own alternators seems to be popular for wind turbines, thought you were working on that.
