00:55 bfig (i was planning to make a simple joystick with arduino + some assorted buttons/analog stick

22:22 rue_house my descision to play with 8051 controllers means I need to start writing libraries to do simple things with an 8051

22:23 rue_house and whats interseting is that this opened me to the notion that the arduino is just an extension of this
22:23 rue_house see if you get something really obscure like an 8041 you dont even have chip definition header files
22:23 rue_house and with someting like 8051 you get thte chip definition files but no io libraryeies
