01:52 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> Morning
02:08 AM lcnc-relay: <vibram> Hello
04:13 AM JT-Cave: morning
04:28 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> i drank too much caffeine, and didn't sleep at all last night... on the plus side, i am getting Flex UI figured out 🙂 (i think... have not tested it on my machine yet)
04:35 AM lcnc-relay: <meisterdippel> 😂
04:41 AM Tom_L: morning
04:42 AM Tom_L: JT-Cave, http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/cnc/JT-SHOP/flexgui/linear_units_error2.png
04:42 AM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/cnc/JT-SHOP/flexgui/linear_units_error3.png
04:42 AM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/cnc/JT-SHOP/flexgui/linear_units_error.png
04:54 AM JT-Cave: https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/hal.html
04:57 AM Deejay: moin
05:06 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> Hmmm, so you changed the hal buttons from what is in the xyz.ui example?
05:12 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/EYLEKunoIFjtXbgkDKMCYWzW/Screenshot_1.png
05:12 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> is this not valid anymore?
05:28 AM JT-Cave: yes, I'm in the process of changing the hal button to match the hal spinbox
05:28 AM JT-Cave: came up with a better way to code them yesterday
05:28 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/grILqMNggKZTYpkPbOUafXZh/Screenshot_2.png
05:28 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> so this is correct now?
05:31 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> looks more logical anyway 😉
05:33 AM JT-Cave: https://pasteboard.co/j9oDNNeyidOZ.png
05:34 AM JT-Cave: that's correct for a spinbox and soon to be correct for a button
05:36 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> ok, so by the time i get off my butt and get out to my machine, it will be working 🤣 good to know now so i don't run into problems out there 😉
05:57 AM JT-Cave: https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/hal.html
05:57 AM JT-Cave: docs are correct now to make the code correct
06:51 AM Tom_L: pin_name still need probe_ preface?
07:05 AM JT-Cave: if you want the object to be disabled until probing is enabled
07:12 AM JT-Cave: be a big push here in a bit
07:18 AM Tom_L: waiting for values to connect
07:19 AM Tom_L: cannot probe with zero feedrate
07:21 AM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/cnc/JT-SHOP/flexgui/touch-probe2.png
07:22 AM Tom_L: i bet there's smoke coming off that code still
07:22 AM JT-Cave: yup
07:23 AM JT-Cave: and trying to probe with no feed rate is your error I think
07:23 AM Tom_L: i did a project with a guy in Au once and while i was sleeping, he was coding... vise versa
07:24 AM Tom_L: the png was more for the screen than the error...
07:35 AM Tom_L: T-30 min
07:37 AM Tom_L: if you change a setting will it keep the new setting or do you have to edit the default in the ui?
07:41 AM JT-Cave: edit the ui
07:41 AM Tom_L: once those are set they shouldn't need to be changed much
08:14 AM JT-Cave: Tom_L, the smoke has cleared and your hal items will be broken until you change the dynamic properties
08:15 AM Tom_L: i updated those to 4 entries now
08:15 AM Tom_L: fixing the sub naming
08:22 AM Tom_L: buttons the same way now/
08:22 AM Tom_L: ?
08:24 AM JT-Cave: https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/hal.html
08:25 AM Tom_L: yeah i'll have to fix it later
08:25 AM Tom_L: i'm out
08:25 AM Tom_L: i fixed the ui but still get an error on the button
08:27 AM Tom_L: cannot probe with zero feedrate
08:27 AM Tom_L: on all subs
08:27 AM Tom_L: later
08:28 AM Tom_L: had to edit the pin name from pin_0 but the feedrate is still giving an error
08:52 AM JT-Shop: did you set the feedrate?
09:09 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> how do i get the plot widget to shrink and grow with the tab frame it is inside?
09:09 AM JT-Shop: set the layout of the containing widget by right click and select a layout
09:10 AM JT-Shop: for a single item I usually select vert
09:10 AM JT-Shop: https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/tips.html
09:13 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> what if they are all greyed out?
09:20 AM JT-Cave: they?
09:21 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> one minute, screen capping
09:22 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/royVxHXrsymyJpKCPULWSmGo/Screenshot_3.png
09:27 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> i think i know what i did wrong... hang on
09:27 AM JT-Cave: you have to right click on the container that holds the plot_widget not on the plot_widget
09:27 AM JT-Cave: see the objectName
09:27 AM JT-Cave: right click on tab_17
09:28 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> thats exactly what i did wrong, fixed it 🙂
09:28 AM JT-Cave: got it?
09:28 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> yup, works now
09:28 AM JT-Cave: great
09:44 AM JT-Shop: skunkworks, your Mesa board is out for delivery
10:19 AM lcnc-relay: <skunkworks8841> I see that!
10:19 AM lcnc-relay: <skunkworks8841> excited!
10:49 AM Tom_L: JT-Shop, are the flexhal names case sensitive?
10:51 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> Tom_L: I figured out how to remote desktop into my mill computer from my desk windows.
10:51 AM Tom_L: nice
10:51 AM Tom_L: JT-Shop, all the pins show up in halshow
10:52 AM Tom_L: all the widgets have a default value of non zero
10:56 AM Tom_L: halshow doesn't show the initial set value until you move the arrows up or down then they will show
10:56 AM Tom_L: the initial set values should be read in
10:59 AM Tom_L: once i wiggled all the widget arrows they work
11:04 AM Tom_L: that and one typo in a sub and they all work
11:04 AM Tom_L: the initial value read needs you :)
11:08 AM Tom_L: and not case sensitive fwiw
11:22 AM Tom_L: i might add, excellent job knocking that out
11:30 AM JT-Cave: it might be like o files and everything is converted to lower case internally
11:31 AM Tom_L: yeah it all works except reading the initial values
11:32 AM Tom_L: want me to post the probe2 example?
11:32 AM JT-Cave: give me a bit to fix the initial values
11:32 AM Tom_L: ok
11:33 AM Tom_L: i'm here for a bit
11:33 AM rdtsc-wk: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/excellence-word-cloud-hand-marker-concept-excellence-word-cloud-hand-marker-concept-white-background-133801833.jpg
11:34 AM Tom_L: and a little bs
11:43 AM Tom_L: it's too bad you can't have a set of inch and mm parameters stored so when you select linear_units it loads the proper set
11:43 AM * JT-Cave ignores that for the moment
11:44 AM Tom_L: haha
11:48 AM Tom_L: i'll probably have to update all the examples now too
11:54 AM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> or it can just convert the values you have already... 😉
11:57 AM Tom_L: yeah some of the examples are broke now
11:57 AM Tom_L: i'll wait for your fix before i try to fix them so they don't get overwritten
11:58 AM Tom_L: anything that used hal_pin
12:05 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> i feel like i have been awake for 33 hours.... too hot in my shop to work out there, maybe a bit of a nap is in order
12:06 PM JT-Cave: https://youtu.be/q5o24Y29zwA
12:09 PM xxcoder: time to make that ac suit aging wheels guy made
12:09 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> too bulky 🙂
12:09 PM JT-Cave: Tom_L, I'm done for now
12:10 PM Tom_L: i'm headin out the door for a bit then i'll check things over
12:12 PM JT-Cave: ok
12:13 PM Tom_L: works now
12:13 PM Tom_L: thanks
12:13 PM Tom_L: i'll update the examples when i get back
12:14 PM JT-Cave: a nap is sounding real good right now
12:14 PM Tom_L: i may need one too when i get back
12:14 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> does this mean build v1.0.0 is coming soon? 😁
12:15 PM Tom_L: no, i'll think of something else to add
12:15 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> 0.9.9.1 lol
12:17 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> does flax have hal LEDs (indicators) yet? that would e handy for a few things 😉
12:26 PM JT-Shop: I would venture to say v1.0.0 is very close
12:26 PM JT-Shop: and no leds at this time... I can add that to the wish list
12:41 PM JT-Cave: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38195763/implementing-led-in-pyqt-designer
12:42 PM JT-Cave: we do need some probe icons of our own and all the same size hint hint hint
12:42 PM * JT-Cave hears a nap calling his name
12:58 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> oh, right... nap... i knew i was forgetting to do something important 😉 🤣
01:39 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/zlxqQTqssXSWvvbiVZiGnaMX/png.zip
01:39 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> JT: my nap isn't working (caffeine has not worn off yet), so i made up some sample LED png images with transparent backgrounds (i hope). zipped up are 20x20px, 32x32px, 48x48px, and the originals. if they attach right (through discord), have at them and see if they are worth anything. i stole the base image off google images and made it transparent and adjusted the colors, then cranked out some size variations for you.
01:42 PM rdtsc-wk: Was that source image royalty-free? Just looking-out.
01:43 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> it came from a free png site, i think... let me check
01:44 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> https://www.pngegg.com/en/png-cqkjr
02:09 PM Tom_L: 64px is a good size
02:10 PM Tom_L: for probe icons anyway
02:32 PM Tom_L: JT-Cave, does the new scheme work on checkbox, radiobutton? those were some test examples you had
02:36 PM JT-Shop: any descendant of a QAbstractButton will work QCheckBox, QPushButton, QRadioButton, and QToolButton
02:47 PM he1 is now known as hel
02:47 PM Centurion_Dan1 is now known as Centurion_Dan
02:47 PM Tom_L: JT-Shop, PR #85
02:48 PM Tom_L: i think i got em all
02:48 PM Tom_L: you want probe2 example?
02:55 PM john__: sure
02:57 PM Tom_L: don't pull just yet and i'll add it
03:00 PM Tom_L: ok
03:06 PM Tom_L: npn nc should work on a gpio shouldn't it?
03:06 PM Tom_L: looking at a cheap npn nc probe
03:08 PM -!- #linuxcnc mode set to +v by ChanServ
03:19 PM Tom_dev: https://www.amazon.com/PGFUN-Digitizing-Waterproof-Coordinate-Measuring/dp/B0CC5BFFZW/ref=sr_1_3
03:19 PM john__ is now known as JT-Auto-Shop
03:19 PM Tom_L: not so concerned about accuracy just for testing
03:19 PM JT-Auto-Shop: npn seems weird to switch the 0v
03:19 PM Tom_L: the alternative is npn no
03:19 PM JT-Auto-Shop: usually dc sensors are pnp and send back a +dc
03:19 PM Tom_L: i'll do some digging when i get back
03:19 PM Tom_L: what do you have?
03:19 PM JT-Auto-Shop: I don't think he makes them anymore
03:19 PM JT-Auto-Shop: iirc it's just a switch
03:27 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> I have one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3XMFDX5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
03:27 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/GxLkqWNBChZYinlomZByXRGU/64x64.zip
03:27 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> Tom_L: these are what i have so far for probe icons. see if they will work, or if you need changes. will have to make changes tomorrow as i will be dining out with the family soon. started with a royalty free base image, and drew on them.
03:42 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> they are pretty basic, but i am no graphics artist 😉
03:44 PM rdtsc-wk: I have the same exact probe as you roguish :)
03:45 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> rdtsc-wk: well. I actually have 2 others also, but that one does work ok.
03:48 PM JT-Shop: I'm interested in your item, can you tell me more about it?
03:49 PM JT-Shop: Simpson Hurricane Tie H2.5
03:49 PM JT-Shop: 83 pieces
03:49 PM JT-Shop: If you don't know what they are you don't need them.
03:49 PM JT-Shop: Seller information
03:49 PM JT-Shop: John Thornton
03:50 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> lol, don't need them much where i am, except further toward the coast
03:52 PM JT-Shop: my reply was they capture hurricanes
03:54 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> LMAO
03:55 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> get many hurricanes where you are? 😉
03:55 PM JT-Cave: we get tornado and left over hurricanes
03:56 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> i would think a tornado is worse... don't always know when they start or are coming from...
03:56 PM JT-Cave: rained for 4 days here from the one that hit louisiana
03:57 PM JT-Cave: yup had a cat 5 pass 900' from my house a couple of decades ago... made a pretty good mess
03:58 PM JT-Cave: twisted a 2' diameter hickory tree and broke it off
03:58 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> just get bad ice storms up here
03:58 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> dang!
03:59 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> we just get shakes
03:59 PM JT-Cave: we get them too
03:59 PM lcnc-relay: <Travis Farmer> i get the shakes too... when a plow rolls by 😉
04:11 PM Tom_L: roguish yours is NO ?
04:12 PM Tom_L: mine will be fed straight into a gpio. all the other pins are used up
04:15 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> the cheap chinese one? don't remember off hand... haven't used that one in a while.
04:16 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> but hey, not doing any design work for a couple days, so gonna get ready for flex on the mill.
04:16 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> where are the files? and best way to install ?
04:16 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> don't need the designer stuff on that machine.
04:16 PM Tom_L: https://www.gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/index.html
04:17 PM Tom_L: i'll get a latest deb in a few, i dunno how updated he is
04:17 PM Tom_L: https://github.com/jethornton/flexgui/releases
04:18 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> I'll install on my office demo computer, then to the the mill
04:18 PM Tom_L: that may not have the last probe example in it
04:19 PM Tom_L: and linux just decided to take a dump on me
04:21 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/cnc/JT-SHOP/flexgui/
04:21 PM Tom_L: grab that deb
04:21 PM Tom_L: i just made it
04:22 PM Tom_L: i'll get an rpi one after bit
04:28 PM JT-Shop: Tom_L, my probe is N/C but I reverse the logic in hal
04:28 PM Tom_L: yeah i'm not so worried about that
04:29 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> JT-Shop: I think my Tormach and Drewtronic are NC.
04:31 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> Tom_L: using my remote desktop. so the linux is a bit sluggish. but i'm installing that deb now.
04:31 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> Tom_L: where's your gui file?
04:32 PM Tom_L: in examples
04:32 PM Tom_L: several there
04:32 PM Tom_L: touch-probe2 is the latest test file
04:32 PM Tom_L: not for running a cnc
04:32 PM JT-Shop: install flexgui then from the CNC menu copy the examples to your configs dir
04:32 PM Tom_L: but it shows how to connect the latest hal_pin stuff
04:33 PM Tom_L: mostly why i included it
04:33 PM * JT-Shop takes 5 then it's back to rusty frozen brake line fitting
04:33 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> now the LinuxCNC menu panel has Flex Resources, and Copy Flex Examples in it.
04:33 PM Tom_L: rpi_mill_3 i've run on the mill
04:34 PM Tom_L: the rest are more informative i would say
04:34 PM Tom_L: flex resources is new
04:34 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> clicked on Copy Examples, and it did....amazing
04:34 PM Tom_L: i think it's for building your resource.py file from images for buttons etc
04:35 PM Tom_L: he drummed that up a couple days ago and i haven't looked at it
04:35 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> you guys are bustin' ass
04:35 PM Tom_L: yeah resources is just that
04:35 PM Tom_L: i clicked :)
04:36 PM Tom_L: saves the manual labor
04:36 PM JT-Shop: yup it's an easy way to build your resources.py
04:36 PM Tom_L: you will need rcc installed
04:36 PM Tom_L: which would require at least some of pyqt
04:37 PM Tom_L: don't jump off a bridge, wade in from the shorline
04:41 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> running touch_probe2
04:42 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> Tom_L: so, are you going to incorporate the touch-probe into a full gui?
04:42 PM Tom_L: says it'll be here thurs
04:43 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> ok, cool
04:43 PM Tom_L: i'm sure somebody will
04:43 PM Tom_L: this is just to get things rolling
04:44 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> in all those examples, which one is the most complete ?
04:44 PM Tom_L: rpi_mill3
04:44 PM Tom_L: it's just a fixed screen size is all to fit the rpi touch
04:45 PM Tom_L: jt has some that are working
04:45 PM Tom_L: touch might be one to look at
04:45 PM Tom_L: if you have a touch screen
04:46 PM Tom_L: if you want to use on with your config, add the lines to the [DISPLAY] section and copy the ui qss and resources.py over with the subdirectory off your folder
04:46 PM Tom_L: with the subroutines in it
04:48 PM Tom_L: https://www.gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/ini.html
04:48 PM Tom_L: ini settings if you want to use it on a working config
04:48 PM Tom_L: you will however need to comment out anything pyvcp related
04:51 PM Tom_L: iirc xyz is pretty complete
04:51 PM Tom_L: there may be an xyzh too
04:51 PM Tom_L: (home)
04:52 PM Tom_L: also xyz_probe
04:52 PM Tom_L: i haven't seen some of these yet
04:57 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> what are you using for plot? gremlin ? or something new ?
05:02 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> near 3 pm, and we're still only 67
05:03 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> well, little nap time here....
05:12 PM lcnc-relay: <skunkworks8841> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/FLhIbMaYCAoaUhDQxzOhwPmS/PXL_20240916_220454682.jpg
05:12 PM lcnc-relay: <skunkworks8841> ah.. the smell of new electonics...
05:13 PM Tom_L: nice board
05:15 PM lcnc-relay: <skunkworks8841> It is
05:23 PM lcnc-relay: <JT> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/matrix.org/PvupGwfKsoCpVaZiotTnWMnQ/1000002339.jpg
05:23 PM Tom_L: not found
05:24 PM JT-Auto-Shop: oh well RF caliper replced
05:24 PM Tom_L: pita?
05:26 PM lcnc-relay: <JT> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/matrix.org/TXBXuIIgEbbXyinJBTENHQUs/1000002339.jpg
05:26 PM Tom_L: same error
05:26 PM JT-Auto-Shop: not as bad as the rears so far but the very old one is next...
05:27 PM JT-Auto-Shop: had to use my tiny oxy propane torch to thermal shock the fitting a few times plus break free
05:27 PM Tom_L: were the others that way too?
05:28 PM JT-Auto-Shop: oh well I guess the matrix is borked
05:28 PM JT-Auto-Shop: one rear I never could break free from the hose
05:28 PM Tom_L: cut the hose?
05:29 PM Tom_L: or unscrew the other end
05:29 PM JT-Auto-Shop: I was replacing the line and hose so I just unscrewed it from the fitting
05:29 PM JT-Auto-Shop: then snaked the line out
05:29 PM Tom_L: yeah
05:29 PM * JT-Auto-Shop calls it a night out here
05:41 PM JT-Shop: did you see the info pte I added?
05:44 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> Apologies for the silly question but i couldnt find a thread on this:
05:44 PM lcnc-relay: Analog servo for lathe spindle
05:44 PM lcnc-relay: Is position control possible via analog 7i76 spindle output?
05:44 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> +(c axis)
05:45 PM Tom_L: no
05:46 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> I shall buy a stepdir servo then. Thank you :)
05:46 PM Tom_L: my no was to jt :)
05:46 PM Tom_L: sry
05:47 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> Oh no worries. Any idea of anyone who would know?
05:47 PM Tom_L: several here should
05:47 PM JT-Shop: https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/misc.html#information-viewer
05:48 PM Tom_L: yeah i just pulled that up
05:48 PM Tom_L: not in the error window anymore?
05:48 PM JT-Shop: up to you
05:48 PM Tom_L: ok
05:49 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> https://jauriarts.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/jauriarts.org/FtBDzqTiPUjgIrKRpVCemqbB/20240429_214451-1.jpg
05:49 PM Tom_L: can't seem to focus tonight
05:49 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> extremely happy with this project.
05:49 PM Tom_L: looks nice
05:50 PM JT-Shop: much too clean lol
05:50 PM Tom_L: i might have mounted the wires on Z out the rear side though
05:51 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> I shimmed the servo in place and then noticed they are pointing up now im afraid to touch it
05:51 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> rigid coupler moment...
05:51 PM Tom_L: heh
05:52 PM lcnc-relay: <sodakaustik> also it should have been on the left because of thermal expansion but it didnt fit...
05:52 PM Tom_L: nice project
05:53 PM Tom_L: what's the limit on the front?
05:53 PM Tom_L: may fail when chips get on it
05:53 PM Tom_L: inductive?

06:02 PM JT-Shop: the RF caliper took all my wind
06:02 PM Tom_L: the mind says go...
06:03 PM JT-Shop: I hope the LF which looks to be 42 years old will not be horrible
06:03 PM JT-Shop: what's that country song I'm not as good as I used to be...
06:03 PM Tom_L: i'll snake a wire out of the pannel for the probe
06:04 PM Tom_L: i'm as good once as i ever was
06:04 PM JT-Shop: yup that one
06:04 PM Tom_L: i should have used the white now i gotta re'attach it again

06:05 PM Tom_L: tough stuff
06:05 PM JT-Shop: I think I have to replace the headlight override switch as it does not work with the engine idling but the head light switch does
06:07 PM JT-Shop: it did work with the vacuum generator but that might have more vacuum
06:10 PM JT-Shop: so the info thing can be a narrow display next to the plot or something to show debug messages
06:10 PM * JT-Shop calls it a night
06:22 PM Tom_L: that could be handy
07:46 PM rdtsc_away is now known as rdtsc
08:13 PM rdtsc is now known as rdtsc_away
08:13 PM lcnc-relay: <captainhindsight_.> LCNC disables the Z-axis if the configs don't have the settings for a manual tool change prompt - M6, it might be disabling all axes, I still have to check
08:13 PM lcnc-relay: <captainhindsight_.> if you run a program without an M6 it runs fine
08:14 PM lcnc-relay: <captainhindsight_.> if you include and M6 it drops them out at that line
08:38 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/cnc/JT-SHOP/flexgui/touch-probe-blue.png
08:39 PM Tom_L: capn, if you have a limit fault and use the ignore limits check, jog off and reset the limits will not trip again but you can still jog wherever you wish
08:40 PM Tom_L: emc bug
09:24 PM Tom_L: JT-Cave, PR #86 for deb
09:44 PM NoSpark: I finally got a chance to try the mesa modbus again, and I can confirme there is a bug in the timing. rather than recieving frames, the code only recieves a single byte as a frame.
