12:16 PM roycroft: i created three different objects in openscad, exported each to svg, and the origin happily loaded each of them
12:17 PM roycroft: but now i'm completely out of time for shop stuff, as i'm in the middle of packing for the fair
12:17 PM roycroft: i feel really good knowing i've made progress on the svg files, though
12:18 PM roycroft: and for the joinery work i'll be doing, openscad is ideal, as i can easily reuse code by just redefining the values of variables

12:26 PM roycroft: i've been using various tools to try to generate svg models that my shaper origin is happy with

01:03 PM JT-Shop: interesting email on the dev list complaining about the trajectory planners short comings with a rotary axis and mentioning a free tp that has been offered to linuxcnc but no link
01:03 PM JT-Shop: coordinated moves between linear and rotary would need to know the radius of the tool to the center line of the rotary axis I'd think
