04:21 AM JT-Cave: it does make sense, if you jog a bit but the limit is still tripped when you stop then the limit is active

04:24 AM JT-Cave: if the machine is configured correctly you will never trip a limit switch

04:28 AM mits5782[m]: if you have + and - limit switches, it happily lets you drive it in the direction both further on and back off the limit
04:28 AM mits5782[m]: if it's supposed to add safety, then you would make it so the - limit doesn't allow - jogging, but does allow + jogging

04:29 AM mits5782[m]: I mean, I get it... but I suggest that it's not adding any safety by disabling itself
