09:14 AM skunkworks: I think someone tipped it over at some point...
09:15 AM JT-Cave: parts falling out?
09:15 AM skunkworks: 2 chipset heatsinks where pulled off the motherboard
09:17 AM * JT-Cave needs to head up to the shop and get some real work done and stop putzing around with the chicken door
09:22 AM FinboySlick: Those are just spares, skunkworks. Same as in the automotive industry, every engine I worked on had spare bolts included.
09:37 AM Loetmichel: *giggle* $me just went 10 miles to the painter, delivering some enclosures to get powder coating... the moment i hit the Highway it started raining cats and dogs... and that BMW comvertible cant close the ragtop while driving. Stopping on the highway is forbidden in germany... I am still dripping wet ;)
09:38 AM FinboySlick: Loetmichel: Look at you, using freedom units :)
09:39 AM Loetmichel: courtesy to you americans... so you dont have to convert
09:39 AM Loetmichel: it was actually 16km according to my satnav
02:54 PM roycroft: you know, folks, i see people making fancy universal jigs or wasting a bunch of time setting up the fence on their router to route mortises, because they say they can't justify making one-off jigs
02:54 PM roycroft: i made four one-off jigs during my lunch break today out of scrap plywood and some ca glue
02:54 PM roycroft: they're accurate to within 0.002" of my desired dimensions
02:55 PM roycroft: which is good enough for woodworking :)
02:55 PM roycroft: probably a lot more accurate than using a universal jig or fiddling with the guide fence
03:13 PM Deejay: gn8
07:17 PM pink_vampire: roycroft: I'm not even sure what do you mean by "universal jig"
07:18 PM Tom_L: fixture
