01:06 AM IchGucksLive: morning from wet germany ;-) sun is out after a rough night of thunder
01:11 AM IchGucksLive: off 2 garden
02:40 AM Deejay: moin
02:52 AM * Loetmichel is sitting at work for an hour now... with a damp backside (forgot to close the car window saturday) and a slight chill from bathing cold this morning... (i hate this boiler at home... 120 liters warm water for 4 households... my wife and someone else in the house bathing before me: cooooold)
02:56 AM MarcelineVQ: 4 homes? gosh, that's the size of a single water heater here
02:57 AM XXCoder: cant get instant water heater Loetmichel ?
02:58 AM Loetmichel: XXCoder: warm water is central for all 4 flats.
02:58 AM Loetmichel: like heating
02:58 AM Loetmichel: and as it is a rental: nope
03:00 AM Roguish_ is now known as Roguish
03:17 AM XXCoder: its not too bad actually, its easy to install, easy to remove
03:24 AM Loetmichel: XXCoder: central warm water means: no way to put an "durchlauferhitzer" in the bathroom. the whole piping goes straight down to the cellar
03:25 AM XXCoder: hmm too bad
03:25 AM XXCoder: I wonder if you could attach it to say shower head
03:25 AM Loetmichel: also the fuse box isnt specced for that ;)
03:25 AM XXCoder: makes it bit longer but warmer
03:25 AM XXCoder: ah thats bigger issue lol
03:25 AM Loetmichel: heating is gas here
03:26 AM Loetmichel: IIRC a Propane/butane/methane mix coming directly from the city
03:27 AM Loetmichel: no tanks on the premises
03:27 AM Loetmichel: so the fuses are not designed for 23kW additional load ;)
03:33 AM XXCoder: yeah
03:50 AM sensille: does anyone here has some deeper nurbs-knowledge? i'm searching for information what kind of geometry slicing nurbs yields
03:56 AM gloops: whats this for sensille?
03:57 AM sensille: 3d printing. currently only stl models are used for this, and i'm hoping to use nurbs instead
03:57 AM sensille: or step as input
03:59 AM sensille: probably the same for cnc
04:00 AM gloops: i dont know, blender has plugins for preparing models for printing, not sure if this is a feature
04:01 AM sensille: the mathematics of nurbs are quite unwieldy...
04:01 AM sensille: i also asked in blendercoders, maybe they know some papers about that
04:31 AM IchGucksLive: hi all
04:33 AM IchGucksLive: gloops, still on ?=
04:36 AM IchGucksLive: hi timbo
04:42 AM IchGucksLive: off till later
04:44 AM miss0r: hello
04:56 AM XXCoder: hey
04:56 AM XXCoder: problem solved?
04:57 AM holzjunkie1 is now known as holzjunkie
04:58 AM miss0r: not even close
05:07 AM XXCoder: aw :(
05:07 AM miss0r: yeah well.. It just needs some more work
05:16 AM XXCoder: yeah
05:32 AM holzjunkie1 is now known as holzjunkie
05:58 AM miss0r: Going to mill a pcb now. I haven't done that in a long while :D
07:13 AM * Loetmichel is just milling parts for a big video projector... MAAAN those cooling slots take their sweet time...
07:13 AM Loetmichel: (and the 100s of M3 screw holes...)
07:13 AM XXCoder: it helps machine cool off also. ;)
07:13 AM Loetmichel: ... also the deburring of said slots i a job for someone wearing orange :-)
07:14 AM miss0r: hehe
07:15 AM miss0r: I'm milling my first double sided PCB in 2 years at the moment
07:15 AM miss0r: I forgot what a slow process that was :D
07:15 AM XXCoder: I want to try milling pcb evenually. just for lols
07:16 AM miss0r: Loetmichel: I'll be contacting you soon regarding the enclosure I would like to order for my edm
07:16 AM miss0r: XXCoder: if so, I can recommend copperCAM
07:16 AM miss0r: had it not been for that, I would have never gotten it done
07:17 AM XXCoder: cool
07:17 AM miss0r: and its only 80 eur
07:18 AM miss0r: well worth the price, might I add
07:18 AM miss0r: I draw the pcb in diptrace (free software)
07:18 AM miss0r: and export it directly to coppercam
07:18 AM miss0r: The reason I actualy ended up with coppercam, is because it can run my mill directly (This camm-3 rolandg mill)
07:19 AM miss0r: which is otherwise a royal pain to run
07:19 AM XXCoder: it dont export gcode for linuxcnc?
07:19 AM miss0r: sure
07:20 AM miss0r: but I can't realy use that for anything
07:20 AM miss0r: I don't have a LinuxCNC mill at the moment
07:20 AM Loetmichel: http://www.cyrom.org/palbum/main.php?g2_itemId=17118&g2_imageViewsIndex=1 <- sorry for the blur, a bit dark here... last piece of aluminum sheet on the mill...
07:21 AM miss0r: why is it wrapped in sheet alu like that?
07:21 AM Loetmichel: ... now i just have to think of something for the optics, the inputs and draw a doghouse for the mains filter. Keyboard already done
07:21 AM Loetmichel: miss0r: EMI shielding
07:21 AM miss0r: ahh
07:23 AM Loetmichel: its easier to wrap the whole thing than searching for EMI signal sources inside and dampening them.
07:24 AM Loetmichel: only thing i dont know is how to get rid of the big hole where the optics are ;)
07:24 AM miss0r: sure. but still a hellova task
07:24 AM Loetmichel: ... dont know YET
07:24 AM Loetmichel: yes, especially when the mill is to small ;)
07:24 AM miss0r: I guess they woun't be too happy with a copper mesh over the lense? :D
07:24 AM Loetmichel: (thats the reason for the "puzzle" part on the half top plate)
07:25 AM Loetmichel: yes, that would be not the preferred way of doing it
07:25 AM Loetmichel: we'll try to get away with leaving it open... we'll see when the thing is measured.
07:25 AM miss0r: hmm... I'm just spitballing here: what about something like the windscreen on a modern car, with the barely visible heating wire in there?
07:26 AM Loetmichel: i placed a bunch of m3 threads in the flaps of the opening so i could mount a box with a copper mesh glass in it if its neccessary
07:26 AM Loetmichel: what do you think we use?
07:27 AM Loetmichel: our TFT glass shields are made of 100mil copper mesh
07:27 AM miss0r: hey.. I know nothing :D
07:27 AM Loetmichel: http://www.cyrom.org/palbum/main.php?g2_itemId=12454&g2_imageViewsIndex=1 <- thats a 24" front glass we use
07:27 AM Loetmichel: ... only 230 eur a piece ;)
07:28 AM miss0r: somehow that doesn't sound too bad
07:29 AM Loetmichel: and 1.1mm float glass laminated with copper foil... not gorilla or securit... had a coworker break six of them in succession while mounting... he overlooekd a small plastic burr inside the monitors...
07:29 AM Loetmichel: he was close to tears
07:36 AM Beachbumpete1: Morning LinuxCNC
07:45 AM jthornton: morning Pete
07:46 AM XXCoder: Loetmichel: man, after second break I'd look very closely at edges etc that touch other part
07:48 AM Beachbumpete1: Hey Jt
07:49 AM Tom_L: hey
07:55 AM Beachbumpete1: Hey Tom
07:55 AM Beachbumpete1: how was your weekend
07:55 AM Tom_L: not bad
07:56 AM Beachbumpete1: I worked late Friday but had the whole weekend off for once LOL
07:56 AM Beachbumpete1: had to spend most of the day working on my vehicle and my wife's SUV yesterday :(
07:56 AM Tom_L: go to the ocean?
07:56 AM Tom_L: ahh
07:57 AM Tom_L: bummer
07:57 AM Beachbumpete1: not this weekend
07:57 AM Beachbumpete1: I did get a new toy for the guitar stuff
07:57 AM Beachbumpete1: I bought this behringer FCB1010 midi controller pedal
07:57 AM Tom_L: better learn to play it for sure now
07:58 AM Beachbumpete1: its pretty sweet to be able to click and change the sound of the guitar
07:58 AM Beachbumpete1: working on that :)
07:58 AM Beachbumpete1: lessons continue
07:58 AM Beachbumpete1: I really only wanted the pedal so I can use the looper software with my guitar hands free
07:58 AM Beachbumpete1: but this thing can do all sorts of stuff with the software
07:59 AM Beachbumpete1: it has two expression pedals
07:59 AM Tom_L: nice
07:59 AM Beachbumpete1: so you can modulate waah or volume fade or whatever you can dream up
07:59 AM Beachbumpete1: kinda satisfies my inner tech geek :)
07:59 AM Tom_L: seems everybody's goin to those things nowdays
08:00 AM Beachbumpete1: pedals?
08:00 AM Tom_L: yeah
08:00 AM Beachbumpete1: it really makes playing the guitar fun
08:00 AM Beachbumpete1: I use guitar rig 5 software
08:00 AM Tom_L: moreso than before or at least the functions have changed dramatically
08:00 AM Beachbumpete1: and you can click thru saved presets with your toe
08:01 AM Tom_L: anyway, time to head out
08:01 AM Beachbumpete1: it is also real midi so if I ever get real good (not likely :)) and want to buy a big amp and hardware pedals etc I can use it with those
08:01 AM Beachbumpete1: take it easy man
08:15 AM Loetmichel: XXCoder: he did, just didt find anything... took ME quite a while to find the culprit (small burr leftover from injection molding... thanks HP)...
08:22 AM miss0r: well... the pads 'somewhat' line up with the holes... bah... theres a 0.2mm offset somewhere I missed!
08:23 AM miss0r: With some creative soldering, it should be alright :]
08:23 AM Loetmichel: miss0r: hrhr... let me tell you from experience: the 100th PCB will be a lot better
08:24 AM Loetmichel: took me a while to work all the kinks out of the process as well
08:24 AM miss0r: Loetmichel: The sad thing is; I already did all that. But its been two years since I made a double sided one :]
08:25 AM miss0r: Can't win'em all I guess
08:26 AM miss0r: as long as I don't have to scratch too much to make it viable, it will do :D
08:28 AM Loetmichel: miss0r: as i use Target 3001 it can export gcode directly... AND make some "flip drills" for aligning the second side.
08:28 AM Loetmichel: pretty convenient ;)
08:28 AM Loetmichel: as a PCB CAD
08:28 AM miss0r: yeah. i can do that as well... and I did
08:28 AM miss0r: but I forgot that ridiculous offset
08:29 AM Loetmichel: then there sould be no offset
08:29 AM miss0r: no, there shouldn't. but CopperCAM decided that origin was x0.1 y0.0 for some odd reason
08:29 AM Loetmichel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6NQ-05A0qc
08:29 AM Loetmichel: thats odd
08:30 AM miss0r: yeah
08:30 AM miss0r: what size is that pcb blank?
08:31 AM Loetmichel: 600mm by 400mm ;9
08:31 AM Loetmichel: you see the three "flip drills" there outside the pcb panel
08:31 AM Loetmichel: (2 half ones on the left, one on the far right in the middle)
08:32 AM Loetmichel: and it has both sides with all tools in one file... it uses "msg" to tell you to flip the board after one side is done
08:34 AM miss0r: nice
08:34 AM miss0r: This is a realy simple layout i'm working on here. two rows of 20 terminals. 20 diodes, 20 caps, and one terminal for GND
08:35 AM miss0r: its basically going to be inserted in a mill, between the relays and the magnetic coils for the hydraulics... (the kickback from those coils are wrecking the relays in a hurry)
08:41 AM miss0r: One thing I'm having a hard time doing is getting diptrace to recognize that the "unused" copper is GND
08:41 AM miss0r: That would make my life alot easier
08:49 AM Deejay: re
08:49 AM miss0r: wb
08:50 AM Deejay: tnx
08:50 AM miss0r: yw
08:51 AM miss0r: this is taking forever!
08:51 AM Deejay: still pcb milling?
08:53 AM miss0r: yeah
08:53 AM miss0r: I had some idiotic offset issues
08:54 AM miss0r: Mostly because I'm a retard... but It will be alright with some creative soldering :]
08:55 AM miss0r: I have to go pick up the kid from kindergarden in 30 minuts, I'm hoping it will be done by then ;D
08:55 AM Deejay: hmm, i think you should do pcb milling more often... to make less errors by time ;)
08:56 AM miss0r: hehe yeah
08:56 AM miss0r: well, that is what happens when you don't do it for a long time
08:56 AM Deejay: most mistakes are in the pcb layout for me
08:57 AM Deejay: at least the last milling project worked fine. but then recognized that the footprint is mirrored ;)
08:57 AM miss0r: hehe.. I have a few of those in my 'wtf bucket'
08:57 AM Deejay: :)
08:58 AM Deejay: have fun. afk for now, working outside
08:58 AM miss0r: enjoy
09:19 AM ktc is now known as Guest1415
11:05 AM fragalot: 'sup nerds
11:13 AM Beachbumpete1: SUP
11:33 AM hazzy-lab: Breaking, Breaking: Net neutrality was repealed!
11:34 AM * hazzy-lab feels like gloops
11:50 AM fragalot: hazzy-lab: again?
11:53 AM fragalot: so.. for my epoxygranite mold vibrator.. I could buy beefy standard springs.. or I could buy MTB springs for roughly the same price.. xD
11:55 AM Tom_L: get a heavy duty vibratumbler and you can use it later on to debur your parts as well
11:56 AM JT-Shop: Gah. Your tab just crashed.
11:56 AM * Tom_L hopes somebody paid his tab
11:56 AM JT-Shop: seems to be more frequent with firefox as each update comes in
11:56 AM Tom_L: on linux or windoze?
11:56 AM JT-Shop: both
11:57 AM * Tom_L thinks it's the swamp water
11:57 AM fragalot: turns out the springs used for mold ejection are super cheap in comparison to standard ones
11:57 AM JT-Shop: could be an old indian burial ground too
11:57 AM fragalot: like €1,86 each
11:58 AM Tom_L: fragalot go to an auto motor rebuilder and you can probably get all the free springs you want
11:58 AM Loetmichel: *hmpf* Note to self: dont accuse wife without asking her... she wasnt the culprit of warm water "over usage", she had bathed cold, too this moring... the pilot flame of the water heater was off again... I begin to suspect that either our city gas isnt as clean as it should be or the new water heater has a fault... every few weeks it extinguishes the pilot flame :-(
11:58 AM fragalot: Tom_L: sure I'll just pop by the zero one of those in the neighbourhood
11:58 AM fragalot: buying these will cost me less than driving to a rebuilder in fuel
11:59 AM Tom_L: mine did that for a while and i found out the thermocouple was bad
11:59 AM cradek: check positioning - the main burner coming on can blow it out
11:59 AM Tom_L: they replaced it under warranty
11:59 AM Tom_L: also the new ones are 'earthquake' proof
11:59 AM Tom_L: too much shaking will make them shut down
11:59 AM cradek: also if the thermocouple is in the main flame it will overheat
12:01 PM cradek: (seems like pilots going out in an earthquake would be a feature...)
12:06 PM Beachbumpete1: I must say this cabinet software has about a gazillion settings for how to build a cabinet. I never realized there was that many ways to build a box LOL
12:11 PM gloops: ayrton sennas rebuilt 1980s F1 car parked in sheffield square
12:12 PM gloops: dont know why anyone would want to rebuild that
12:12 PM Beachbumpete1: probably one of the greatest of all time
12:12 PM gloops: when there are loads of lathes and shaping machines etc need TLC
12:12 PM Loetmichel: cradek: possibly... but i am living in a rented flat... will not do more than restart it... anything more is landlords job
12:13 PM Beachbumpete1: sounds like you need a LinuxCNC controlled water heater ;)
12:14 PM gloops: combi boiler on the blink Loetmichel?
12:14 PM Loetmichel: gloops: no combi
12:14 PM Loetmichel: gas furnace for heating and less than 2 years old gas boiler for warm water.
12:15 PM Loetmichel: https://www.vaillant.de/heizung/produkte/warmwasserspeicher-atmostor-vgh-5-xz-896.html <- that one to be exact.
12:15 PM Loetmichel: and its new because 2 years ago the exact same model from 30 years ago sprang a leak ;)
12:15 PM Loetmichel: ... imagine my surprise when the "landlord ordered" plumber came by with a NEW of the same model.
12:16 PM Loetmichel: wouldnt have thought these are still in production
12:16 PM gloops: old faithful
12:16 PM Loetmichel: at least 30 years and not a single screw changed... impressive
12:16 PM Tom_L: they haven't realized the value of job security yet
12:19 PM gloops: probably new old stock
12:20 PM Loetmichel: gloops: nope, vaillant still makes them today
12:20 PM Loetmichel: same they made them 30+ years ago
12:21 PM Rab: I don't think pilot lights are still allowed in USA, for efficiency (maybe safety) reasons.
12:21 PM Rab: Although electronic ignition is still susceptible to some of the same problems, like dirty temperature probe.
12:22 PM Rab: (And introduces other failure modes.)
12:22 PM gloops: you can still buy well, these modern boilers are practically failsafe
12:23 PM gloops: anything not working - gas gets shut off instantly
12:23 PM gloops: sorry merged two seperate comments there lol
12:29 PM Beachbumpete1: is it true that most of the cabinetry in europe is all melamine construction? We have a guy here from UK and that is what he says...
12:30 PM Loetmichel: gloops: what surprised me is that vaillant didnt find a SINGLE screw to need change... they make that boiler exactly the same for 32++ years now... talk about quality design ;)
12:31 PM gloops: depends what you mean by cabinetry Beachbumpete1
12:31 PM Loetmichel: Beachbumpete1: usually cabinets in germany are made of particle board with melamine or PVC laminate on the surface.
12:32 PM Beachbumpete1: huh so it is true then
12:32 PM gloops: most fitted stuff is chipboard carcassing, hardwood or real wood doors anyway
12:32 PM gloops: traditional cabinets - many still made using real wood
12:32 PM gloops: usually shockingly badly
12:33 PM Beachbumpete1: we make almost nothing from melamine and even laminated parts are done differently some shops use the high pressure laminate materials tho
12:33 PM Loetmichel: gloops: here in germany that depends on how much you earn
12:33 PM Loetmichel: the cheap cabinets have particle board doors laminated.
12:33 PM Beachbumpete1: personally I HATE melamine... it chips out if you look at it wrong
12:33 PM gloops: Loetmichel well yeah, although there is a lot of oak furniture around at the moment at relatively low cost
12:34 PM Loetmichel: the slightly more expensive ones have particle board laminated bodys but full wood doors.
12:34 PM gloops: pine furniture varies from stapled together crap to dovetailed - big difference in price
12:34 PM Beachbumpete1: we are a higher end shop so everything we make is either furniture grade plywood or hardwoods
12:34 PM Loetmichel: and the REALLY expensive ones are wood thru and thru
12:35 PM Loetmichel: Beachbumpete1: these days the classic "flat white" particle boards are clad with PVC, no more melamine.
12:35 PM Beachbumpete1: I used to work in a shop in tennessee that catered to hospitals and doctors offices and they made everything from melamine and laminates
12:35 PM Loetmichel: at least here in germany.
12:35 PM Beachbumpete1: they used the pvc edgebanding
12:35 PM gloops: yeah, doors are often mdf with vacuumed pvc skin
12:35 PM IchGucksLive: good evening form germany
12:35 PM Beachbumpete1: thermoformed doors
12:36 PM IchGucksLive: most dors are only frame with 4mm plyqood
12:36 PM gloops: not even worth thinking of competing with the people who make those, its big industry
12:36 PM IchGucksLive: and 1mm oak
12:36 PM Beachbumpete1: I am trying to setup our new cabinet software with all of our usual materials and pricing so we can generate price/cost lists. Its a big PIA
12:37 PM IchGucksLive: or whatever shine you may like
12:37 PM Loetmichel: ... that said: i should sometime soon change my desktop... its getting ugly... (one time to many drilled into the desk accidentally ;)
12:37 PM Beachbumpete1: but the 3d renderings it produces are pretty sweet
12:38 PM IchGucksLive: drilling vinto workbench is not cool odd
12:38 PM Beachbumpete1: I need to get a post processor made for Fusion360 for the new router so we can make the odd custom parts
12:38 PM Loetmichel: http://www.cyrom.org/palbum/main.php?g2_itemId=16218&g2_imageViewsIndex=1
12:38 PM IchGucksLive: all nmoe drifting to WIN
12:38 PM Beachbumpete1: tried to call our rep/contact about it and he is MIA LOL
12:38 PM gloops: i was skipping through some of the Sketchup apps, they have some kitchen and cabinet stuff, dont know how good they are
12:38 PM IchGucksLive: gloops, Beachbumpete1
12:39 PM IchGucksLive: lots of folkes leving lcnc
12:39 PM Beachbumpete1: its funny you mention that our software uses sketchup in part for the renderings
12:39 PM IchGucksLive: if arduino cnc gets all usb why doesnt the kernal suport this interface
12:39 PM Beachbumpete1: you don't HAVE to use it but you can and that adds the ability to go nutz with the images
12:40 PM IchGucksLive: Beachbumpete1, the blender game render mashine is faster and can do full 360
12:40 PM Beachbumpete1: what do you mean full 360?
12:40 PM IchGucksLive: its simply pythion
12:40 PM IchGucksLive: Beachbumpete1, full part rotation with texture or material
12:40 PM Beachbumpete1: our renderings are full 360
12:41 PM Loetmichel: gloops: i dont use that much particleboard furnitire... my kitchen cabinets are made of glued fir bards ;)
12:41 PM Beachbumpete1: both in the software and in sketchup
12:41 PM gloops: id guess 90% of UK kitchens are white chipboard boxes
12:42 PM Beachbumpete1: wow thats crazy I guess the chap was right then huh
12:42 PM gloops: great stuff for the manufacturers, because most need replacing every 5-10 years
12:42 PM Beachbumpete1: that stuff is garbage... ANY moisture and it turns into a big nasty moldy sponge
12:43 PM Loetmichel: http://www.cyrom.org/palbum/main.php?g2_itemId=15753 <- there you can see hald a cabinet and some selfmade racks
12:43 PM IchGucksLive: today i finished the last Elecronic cabinett so mounting on wendsday and then 1 week to holiday
12:43 PM gloops: you dont see the carcase though Beachbumpete1, when the wood or wood effect doors are on and all the trimmings and worktops, you think youre in a palace
12:43 PM Beachbumpete1: yeah I know they LOOK fine until you open the doors LOL
12:44 PM fragalot: nothing more veneer can't solve, Beachbumpete1 :P
12:44 PM fragalot: or a nice vinyl print
12:44 PM Beachbumpete1: polishin' a turd eh
12:45 PM Beachbumpete1: I can't argue tho price sells more often than not
12:45 PM gloops: all the money is in the fitting, not manufacturing
12:46 PM fragalot: gloops: if that's true, then how come ikea is doing so well?
12:46 PM fragalot: :P
12:46 PM gloops: well ikea is making it on an economy of scale
12:47 PM fragalot: Beachbumpete1: where do you get your stuck musicians from then?
12:47 PM gloops: probably a few pennies profit per kitchen door - that doesnt work unless your workshop is measured in acres
12:47 PM fragalot: (glued bards)
12:47 PM Loetmichel: fragalot: even ikea has a few "full wood" series of cabinets
12:47 PM Loetmichel: expensive though ;)
12:47 PM fragalot: Loetmichel: I know. half my house is decoarted with those, lol
12:48 PM IchGucksLive: fragalot, i now got all 4 mashines full motion
12:48 PM Beachbumpete1: fragalot ?
12:48 PM gloops: might be those oak furniture ads ive been seeing lately
12:48 PM fragalot: Beachbumpete1: I meant Loetmichel >.<
12:48 PM IchGucksLive: fragalot, with the HGH set from china
12:48 PM gloops: 'luxury solid oak!'
12:48 PM gloops: its squared off boards stuck together
12:48 PM Loetmichel: http://www.cyrom.org/palbum/main.php?g2_itemId=3206&g2_imageViewsIndex=1 <- nice to see though how the cabinet has darkened over the years... that pic was made just after moving in ;)
12:48 PM IchGucksLive: gloops, solid oak is waste of money
12:49 PM fragalot: oak isn't that great of a material anyway
12:49 PM gloops: i guess it will only split Ichs
12:49 PM Loetmichel: solid oak is EXPENSIVE... and a tad dark for my taste
12:49 PM JT-Shop: dang I did a plasma job and now I need to figure out how to calculate the cost...
12:50 PM fragalot: Loetmichel: that's why you paint it white
12:50 PM Loetmichel: also its relatively coarse wood.
12:50 PM fragalot: like that one customer I had about 10 years ago did after I made their stairs with grade A+ solid oak
12:50 PM gloops: patina Loetmichel
12:50 PM Beachbumpete1: oak here is actually one of the cheaper hardwoods
12:50 PM Loetmichel: i like thinks like maple a lot better
12:50 PM CaptHindsight: JT-Shop: max they will pay -$20
12:50 PM Loetmichel: much finer structure, less tendency to splinter and so on
12:50 PM Loetmichel: and its cheaper on top of that
12:51 PM fragalot: JT-Shop: Good luck ;-)
12:51 PM gloops: i think theres still an old yard in sheffield, bloke doing reclaimed oak - he buys - or allows old floorboards and beams and stuff to be dumped in the yard, and he cuts them up and planes it off on old vintage planers etc, place is feet deep in much and shavings
12:52 PM JT-Shop: I cut 335" of 14 gauge sheet
12:53 PM gloops: reclaimed european oak can be very nice
12:54 PM fragalot: JT-Shop: so cut time * (air + elec) usage/minute + consumables, labor & materials?
12:54 PM JT-Shop: he supplied the material
12:55 PM fragalot: more profit for you :D
12:55 PM CaptHindsight: https://www.cnczone.com/forums/general-waterjet/72908-cnc.html
12:55 PM Beachbumpete1: honestly we have made some beautiful oak cabinetry but most of the time you just see the typical oak 5piece doors with the mopped on clearcoat yellowing finish. Its a shame it can be a really beautiful wood too..
12:55 PM CaptHindsight: ^^plasma cost discussion
12:57 PM JT-Shop: I had a sheet somewhere with the calculations for cost etc
12:57 PM gloops: theres less chance of fire with a water cutter
12:58 PM CaptHindsight: I charge extra for fires
12:59 PM JT-Shop: ah Jim Colt has a post there, that's the one I was trying to find
01:01 PM CaptHindsight: was 2009 so adjust for inflation, climate change, etc
01:01 PM fragalot: at least you can use asbestos again
01:02 PM fragalot: ahahaahahhah
01:02 PM fragalot: american news anchor accidentally mentioned the meeting between trump & kim.. "A meeting between 2 dictators"
01:03 PM Loetmichel: *HARHAR* like clockwork... neighbor above just came home from work... *doorbell* $me answers the door... him: "the boiler is out again, can you show me again how to restart it?" $me: "nope, it isnt, already restarted it... but i'll show you *going down into the cellar* "just turn the main valve to 'ignition', press it down, press the ignither a few times until you see the blue flame, HOLD
01:03 PM Loetmichel: the main valve down until the blue pilot flame starts to glow red in a spot, then release it and turn it back to "oerate. Its easy"... him: "yes, but i have a bit of a fear of gas... i think i can manage now though!" ... some people... ;)
01:03 PM CaptHindsight: fragalot: that has been the common terms used recently
01:04 PM CaptHindsight: fragalot: it's been interesting watching and reading the news from the EU and Canada vs the US the past day
01:05 PM fragalot: what's happened?
01:05 PM * fragalot hasn't really been following any news
01:05 PM IchGucksLive: CaptHindsight, like kindergarden in big
01:05 PM CaptHindsight: the G7 drama
01:06 PM IchGucksLive: first election shouts
01:06 PM IchGucksLive: the world is begging for workers so why not the USA
01:06 PM CaptHindsight: IchGucksLive: yes, the rest of the world news gets it, but here they still report about him like he's an adult mentally and emotionally
01:07 PM IchGucksLive: and he claims it to have done it
01:07 PM fragalot: ha.
01:07 PM CaptHindsight: IchGucksLive: the "news" here is that employment is the highest since 1969 :)
01:08 PM IchGucksLive: CaptHindsight, 21th century and he brings back the miners undergrouund in a MODERN way
01:08 PM CaptHindsight: the future is coal
01:08 PM IchGucksLive: CaptHindsight, as worldwide
01:08 PM fragalot: it's great to invest in obsolete power sources
01:08 PM fragalot: double down
01:08 PM IchGucksLive: TEXAS has the most green energy of all states
01:08 PM gloops: its only obsolete for political reasons, theres enough coal for 1000 years
01:09 PM CaptHindsight: most people here think propaganda only happens in places like Russia and China
01:09 PM IchGucksLive: Investment boosts all no matter how rules
01:09 PM CaptHindsight: or it's an old cold war thing
01:09 PM IchGucksLive: Vhina will overtake all in the next 5 years
01:10 PM CaptHindsight: anyway didn't mean to get off track here
01:10 PM IchGucksLive: they harvest Recorces manporer and technologie like in the 19th century the british did
01:10 PM CaptHindsight: it's like watching/reading a bad scifi that I'm living in
01:10 PM IchGucksLive: AND the WORLD still runs on STEAM
01:11 PM IchGucksLive: CaptHindsight, are you still in HK
01:11 PM gloops: yes dont rule out out Blighty just yet, theres a buzz of industrial drive and innovation in the air again here
01:11 PM CaptHindsight: IchGucksLive: been back for a while in the US
01:11 PM IchGucksLive: gloops, we need more teflon
01:12 PM CaptHindsight: IchGucksLive: seeing less and less difference all the time in how things are run
01:12 PM gloops: yes, we need to bring china to its knees and enslave it through usury
01:12 PM IchGucksLive: KCHK isent here for a long time
01:12 PM gloops: then we can take their minerals
01:13 PM cpresser: and vespene-gas
01:13 PM IchGucksLive: i need a tiny part from HK that fits a standard letter but knowone sends it that way
01:13 PM IchGucksLive: China will feel the Less young people effect soon
01:14 PM IchGucksLive: there is a 15year leak of young people
01:15 PM IchGucksLive: look on UAE Dubai
01:15 PM IchGucksLive: 50.000 citicens and 23Mio foreners
01:15 PM IchGucksLive: about 100k joining per month
01:16 PM CaptHindsight: less snow :)
01:16 PM IchGucksLive: 3 new mejor jitis in plan like
01:16 PM gloops: Japan took 3 refugees last year
01:16 PM IchGucksLive: citys
01:17 PM IchGucksLive: in modern time only UAE and china are building citys above 600k people
01:17 PM IchGucksLive: even India dident make it to that numbers
01:18 PM gloops: i think India will beat china in the long run
01:19 PM gloops: India is working clever
01:19 PM gloops: tata cars have broken into the western market
01:20 PM IchGucksLive: gloops, more china cars then india
01:20 PM Rab: China has the advantage of a totalitarian government.
01:21 PM CaptHindsight: $500 Tata electric vehicle will do it
01:22 PM CaptHindsight: Rab: over India or the US?
01:22 PM gloops: china dumped some proper crap here - those pit bikes and quads etc, total dangerous rubbish
01:22 PM CaptHindsight: India doesn't have its sights set on world domination
01:22 PM gloops: theyve got the name for making crap, ok for a frying pan - not so good for a car
01:23 PM CaptHindsight: the top 1% in India are doing great, same for the US and China
01:23 PM gloops: their stepper motors work though lol
01:23 PM Rab: CaptHindsight, over India, and arguably over the US in ability to implement infrastructure projects through political will.
01:24 PM IchGucksLive: im off Gn8
01:24 PM CaptHindsight: Rab: yeah the US isn't interested making new long term friends currently
01:25 PM CaptHindsight: not even keeping old ones :)
01:25 PM gloops: theres going to be a change of direction, globally
01:25 PM gloops: the neo liberal vision is dying
01:26 PM Rab: The Party can say, "Housing will be built", "All buses will be electric", "This valley will be flooded for hydro power".
01:26 PM gloops: thats one advantage Rab, just depends IF those are the right decisions
01:27 PM Rab: Of course: so long as the aim is constructive, progress happens.
01:27 PM CaptHindsight: Rab: trump wants the same for the US
01:27 PM gloops: theres a good reason kings were displaced by parliaments
01:28 PM Rab: They can also say things like, "These births will be terminated", "This chemical depot will adjoin a dense population center", etc etc etc.
01:28 PM CaptHindsight: the hasn't tried kings yet until now
01:28 PM CaptHindsight: the US
01:29 PM CaptHindsight: king light
01:29 PM Rab: uhh, s/births/pregnancies
01:29 PM gloops: Rab while the going is good maybe
01:30 PM gloops: Hitler is a good example for highlighting all the faults in tyrannical rule
01:31 PM CaptHindsight: gloops: why there is Danger 5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z09bNgSeMI
01:31 PM Rab: gloops, I thought we were discussing economic competition, so that was my only metric of merit.
01:32 PM Rab: Obviously totalitarian rule has many disadvantages in other metrics.
01:33 PM CaptHindsight: Rab: depends on your perspective
01:33 PM CaptHindsight: are you on top or a little person?
01:34 PM enleth: are you aware of any schematic tools that are suitable for mixed ladder/electrical schematics? like this: https://hackerspace.pl/~enleth/schematic.pdf
01:35 PM rmu: enleth: you could try qelectrotech
01:37 PM enleth: huh, looks much better than years ago when I last saw it
01:41 PM fragalot: Rab: what parties can also say is "we'll solve world hunger", because it's election day, and once elected say "time to raise taxes on corn!"
01:41 PM fragalot: politics, imho, is a bullcrap profession, and the amount of deceit and denial is atrocious
01:42 PM CaptHindsight: fragalot: over here most won't remember after a week
01:42 PM fragalot: CaptHindsight: even if they did, I doubt it would change much
01:43 PM fragalot: here at least if you not vote for a party because you think they're up to no good, they wind up in a coalition with the bigger parties anyway
01:43 PM fragalot: last elections, the smaller parties all joined up in a coalition that was far larger than the major party everyone voted for
01:45 PM CaptHindsight: rules are for little people
01:47 PM fragalot: so is responsibility
01:47 PM fragalot: "you're secretary of X, and something remotely involved with X somehow messed up, I demand you resign immediately!"
01:51 PM fragalot: so you resign, cash in the severance fee, and become secretary of something else
01:54 PM gloops: big votes in the UK tommorrow
01:55 PM CaptHindsight: hmm so forms of guberment change over time and they all go though periods of being more or less corrupt
01:55 PM gloops: the Lords ammendments to the Brexit Bill have gone back to the commons - 17 ammendments being voted on tommorrow
01:55 PM gloops: CaptHindsight Plato identified that process a long time ago
01:56 PM CaptHindsight: ding ding ding you get cookie
01:56 PM CaptHindsight: a cookie, not all
01:57 PM gloops: May must win all 17 votes, although very close - to a handful ov votes, it seems she might be safe
01:57 PM fragalot: that's what she said last time
01:57 PM gloops: yes, anything could happen
01:58 PM CaptHindsight: so like 1 vote or up to 17?
01:58 PM CaptHindsight: got it
01:58 PM gloops: she cunningly tabled all the votes for same day - so theres no time to debate them
01:59 PM fragalot: I still don't understand how that is even a thing
01:59 PM gloops: what isnt a thing?
01:59 PM fragalot: same with last minute amendments or attachments
02:00 PM fragalot: hey let's all vote to legalize this cancer drug, oh and also the same bill is to allow the nuclear waste pile to be dumped in the tap water supply
02:00 PM gloops: if the commons vote to accept the Lords ammendments, Brexit could turn out very differently - or not at all
02:00 PM CaptHindsight: Canada is moving closer to legalized recreational cannabis, whats the story in the EU?
02:01 PM fragalot: CaptHindsight: some countries have allowed it for decades, others like belgium just don't give a shit
02:01 PM gloops: its kinda unofficially legal to use cannibis
02:01 PM fragalot: so even though it's technically illegal, unless you're selling or carrying large QTY's, police don't care
02:02 PM gloops: some regional police forces here have openly stated they wont pursue cannibis use
02:02 PM gloops: i mean if you get caught for something else and give the cops some lip - and they find a chunck on you - it will go on the charge list yeah
02:04 PM gloops: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3169435/Police-s-latest-potty-idea-no-longer-prosecute-smoke-grow-cannabis-small-scale-reduce-costs.html
02:04 PM fragalot: it's not really weed any more when it comes in chunks :P
02:04 PM gloops: i dont use it, never have, but i think its mostly 'bud' or resin they use
02:05 PM gloops: not like the little bag of 'grass' in my day
02:06 PM CaptHindsight: it would happen quicker in the USA if someone had a cheap "breathalyzer" equivalent for cannabis
02:06 PM fragalot: that exists already using saliva
02:06 PM CaptHindsight: then they can still make $ off users in addition to taxes on production
02:07 PM CaptHindsight: they can't decide on legal limits
02:08 PM CaptHindsight: and since THC isn't water soluble it's not the same as measuring for alcohol
02:08 PM gloops: they do hair samples for many jobs and professions
02:08 PM fragalot: here it's simply limited to 3g on your person, 2 plants of which 1 is growing & 1 'adult'
02:09 PM CaptHindsight: that doesn't tell you how much you have effecting you while driving
02:09 PM gloops: like railways - random hair sample checks, apparently its recorded in the hair growth
02:09 PM fragalot: as for "legal limits"; anything they can measure is over the limit when operating any machinery
02:09 PM gloops: the hair check tests whether youve used it in the last month or so
02:09 PM fragalot: and iirc they now have cheap saliva based testers they can use "on-site"
02:11 PM CaptHindsight: that just checks for does vs does not contain vs some level of impairment
02:12 PM gloops: well, its in the contract - no drugs, like an athlete with steroids
02:12 PM gloops: there is some talk of doing it with welfare claimants
02:13 PM CaptHindsight: my point was keeping the revenue stream going for driving while under THC vs alcohol
02:14 PM CaptHindsight: it's always about the money
02:16 PM gloops: well the cops have been cut back to the bare bones here anyway
02:16 PM gloops: everything has
02:16 PM fragalot: the NHS is the real extreme example
02:17 PM fragalot: cutting back is one thing, but going so far that employees don't get paid is another
02:18 PM gloops: well, we dont know
02:18 PM gloops: you cut a public offices budget - what happens?
02:19 PM gloops: the cops say ok, cut the budget - we wont be doing jack shit now
02:21 PM gloops: things are getting pretty bad though http://www.greenlaunches.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/pedal-powered-Police-car-thumb-450x293.jpg
02:25 PM Tom_L: keeps em in shape while doing nothing
02:26 PM Tom_L: how do they catch speeders? :)
02:26 PM CaptHindsight: cameras
02:27 PM fragalot: they ARE the speeders in those things
02:28 PM Tom_L: some areas here we've gone to horses and bicycles
02:29 PM Tom_L: recently got a new batch of nice shiney motorcycles. took about a week to demolish one
02:32 PM gloops: they got a stage 2 subaru impreza here, everybody wanted to drive it - spent more time getting thrash round back lanes by the cops for fun than chasing anyone
02:33 PM gloops: but most of that has been knocked off now, rarely see chopper, only 1 left in my area
02:34 PM CaptHindsight: over here it's Chargers and Mustangs
02:35 PM CaptHindsight: even the small town get enough traffic revenue to pay for toys
02:35 PM gloops: thinking about it, you could probably do a lot of crime without getting, i havent heard of a burglar getting caught for ages
02:35 PM gloops: getting caught
02:35 PM fragalot: mostly volvo's & VW vans here
02:36 PM CaptHindsight: Ford Explorers if it's not a muscle car
02:37 PM CaptHindsight: they also get military "surplus" for a few $$
02:37 PM fragalot: don't see that 'round here
02:38 PM CaptHindsight: there was a ban, but trump lifted it
02:38 PM fragalot: hugr
02:38 PM fragalot: ANOTHER RANDOM KEY
02:38 PM CaptHindsight: same here
02:38 PM fragalot: huuuuuuuuugrgrgrggrgrgrggrgr
02:39 PM fragalot: I think it may be time to open this laptop up & see if I can find anything gone wrong >.>
02:40 PM CaptHindsight: nice racket, the military buys new equipment for big $ and justifies it by running low on equipment by passing off the old stuff to police departments
02:40 PM syyl: because the local sherrif needs an apc ;)
02:41 PM CaptHindsight: how can you say NO?
02:41 PM fragalot: :D
02:41 PM syyl: look at the fuel consumtion :D
02:41 PM fragalot: we've creatively made sure that that's not going to happen here
02:41 PM fragalot: the streets are too narrow :P
02:41 PM syyl: wouldnt want a m113 as a daily driver.
02:41 PM fragalot: syyl: what about a duck?
02:42 PM syyl: duck?
02:42 PM CaptHindsight: fragalot: aren't you guys worried about Putin invading?
02:43 PM syyl: at least in germany, no
02:44 PM CaptHindsight: the UK at least has a moat
02:44 PM syyl: at least not more worried than iran randomly nukeing something
02:44 PM CaptHindsight: and Poland is like invading Wisconsin :)
02:44 PM syyl: or north korea nukeing something
02:44 PM CaptHindsight: they always get caught in the middle
02:45 PM CaptHindsight: syyl: their missiles don't work in the rain
02:45 PM syyl: and they dont have a history of nukeing other contries
02:45 PM syyl: so, thats promising
02:48 PM fragalot: syyl: the amphibious
02:48 PM fragalot: thing
02:49 PM fragalot: DUKW
02:49 PM syyl: oh
02:49 PM syyl: yes
02:49 PM syyl: would be ok :D
02:49 PM syyl: a kuebelwagen/amphibious would be nice
02:49 PM CaptHindsight: all Kim has to do is give trump all the real estate development deals to NK
02:50 PM CaptHindsight: Kim stays in power, trump gets a bunch of real estate deals., party time
02:53 PM SpeedEvil: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Plowshare - investment opportunities.
03:02 PM gloops: ideally you want to be in on a ponzi scheme near the start, if not the founder
03:16 PM * hazzy-lab wants a Corphibian
https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/news/a27497/this-crazy-amphibious-corvair-built-by-chevy-engineers-can-be-yours/
03:27 PM gloops: flicking over to windows, despite my determined precautions, i have ended up fighting a war on two fronts!
03:28 PM andypugh: link works bette rif it isn’t nhhtps, ie https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/news/a27497/this-crazy-amphibious-corvair-built-by-chevy-engineers-can-be-yours/
03:29 PM DaViruz: there's a pretty neat home built submarine up for auction a bit from here
03:29 PM DaViruz: i'm considering going to the viewing in order to steal some ideas..
03:30 PM DaViruz: https://psauction.se/item/view/483304/ubat-harren-sf3081
03:30 PM _methods: is that the murder sub
03:30 PM andypugh: Seems likely
03:31 PM DaViruz: no
03:31 PM andypugh: The Corphibian is rather ccol.
03:31 PM DaViruz: that one is impounded by the police
03:31 PM DaViruz: and quite a bit bigger
03:31 PM _methods: ah ok
03:31 PM _methods: thought maybe the police were auctioning it off
03:33 PM andypugh: You stand a bit more chance getting hold os an Amphicar. They even restored one of those on Wheeler Dealers:
03:33 PM DaViruz: i think scuba gear is superior to this one in pretty much every respect :/
03:33 PM andypugh: Hard to cook in scuba gear
03:34 PM DaViruz: i think it's pretty hard to cook in this sub as well, it's very small
03:34 PM DaViruz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsfnGLLjp4g
03:35 PM andypugh: Save mooring fees by sinking it :-)
03:35 PM _methods: i'm sure some columbian drug cartel has it's eyes on it lol
03:36 PM DaViruz: probably :)
03:37 PM DaViruz: might be fun to talk to the guy who built it if he's present
03:37 PM andypugh: 60,000 SEK seems rather reasonable
03:38 PM DaViruz: i'd go for that. but the reserve is not me
03:38 PM DaViruz: t
03:38 PM andypugh: It seems very slow even in speeded-up footage
03:39 PM DaViruz: 6 knot surfaced while running on diesel
03:39 PM DaViruz: the electric motor is actually more powerful
03:40 PM andypugh: I have to say it looks pretty cool.
04:04 PM miss0r: DaViruz: I WANT ONE! but i'm pretty sure danish people aren't allowed to anymore :P
04:05 PM DaViruz: :D
04:05 PM DaViruz: i think it must be pretty straight forward to build one
04:05 PM andypugh: Making a bad one is probably trivial
04:06 PM miss0r: yeah. but it will require time and money
04:06 PM andypugh: Gene Heskett (on the mailing list) apparentl worked on the Trieste
04:07 PM jthornton: I thought Gene studied under Marconi...
04:07 PM andypugh: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bathyscaphe_Trieste
04:10 PM rene-dev_: Andypugh have you tested your patch?
04:11 PM andypugh: rene-dev_: I have tested that things still work in normal circustances. I have not tested it with an actual CRC error
04:12 PM andypugh: So, I am fairly sure it doesn’t break anything, but less sure it fixes anything.
04:13 PM rene-dev_: Ok, I can try to test that.
04:14 PM rene-dev_: of course it will only fix things if there is an actual error
04:18 PM andypugh: Not sure what the problem is with stmc, hm2_eth seems happy enough, and reports no errors.
04:25 PM CaptHindsight: hazzy-lab: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5moK0UHb59s how about a wheel standing version?
04:25 PM andypugh: Nice setup for calibrating load cells: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k9egfWvb7Y
04:26 PM CaptHindsight: andypugh: we use lbs of thrust here :)
04:26 PM syyl_: oh
04:27 PM andypugh: CaptHindsight: You should stop doing that
04:27 PM andypugh: I know it’s the fault of one of our pirates, but you have had time since to change your minds.
04:28 PM CaptHindsight: good things it's named after Newton vs Copernicus
04:36 PM Deejay: gn8
04:41 PM hazzy-lab: CaptHindsight: It was pretty easy to do wheel stands in stock A100s and econolines, but they went the other way xD
04:41 PM hazzy-lab: https://i0.wp.com/www.curbsideclassic.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Ford-Econoline-braking-tip.png
04:41 PM hazzy-lab: That pic was used in a corvair add, with the rear engine it was much better behaved
05:23 PM gloops: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/06/11/boris-johnson-backs-15billion-brexit-bridge-linking-scotland/?utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1528749617
05:23 PM gloops: 14 mile brexit bridge
05:24 PM JT-Shop: he must have the same hair dresser as Trump...
05:25 PM gloops: slight similarity yeah lol
05:25 PM Tom_L: :-)
05:28 PM miss0r: Damn this PCB has taken too long. It is complete now though. You know the feeling when you have soldered 18 out of 20 diodes, you discover you have them the wrong way!?
05:28 PM miss0r: Well, that is what happened to me
05:28 PM JT-Shop: smc's?
05:29 PM Tom_L: you wanted to test out your hot air station didn't you?
05:29 PM miss0r: not realy. I couldn't be bothered to take it out. I desoldered it the old way
05:29 PM miss0r: :D
05:30 PM miss0r: I have a pretty nice one with vacuum'n everything. I just don't use it.. like ever
05:32 PM Tom_L: 97°F and humid
05:32 PM miss0r: anywho. I'll head off now. See you around
05:33 PM Tom_L: storms predicted
05:34 PM Tom_L: is there steam rising out of the swamp?
05:36 PM JT-Shop: pretty warm here in swamp east missouri
05:39 PM phipli: .weather

05:43 PM phipli: slight regression end of last week
05:43 PM phipli: very slowly improving since
05:44 PM phipli: she's processing food (after basically not for a week)
05:44 PM phipli: but /very/ weak
05:44 PM phipli: today she ate more than before since she's been ill
05:44 PM phipli: but last time I said that she didn't eat at all the next day :s
05:44 PM JT-Shop: systems may be coming back online sounds like
05:45 PM phipli: yeah, not sure that she's all that happy about it!
05:47 PM JT-Shop: I have one that rakes the food out of the feeder now...
05:47 PM phipli: heh
05:47 PM phipli: mine only do it sometimes when they're in a silly mood
05:47 PM phipli: we had to switch from straw to wood chips for their bedding because they thought it suited the run better than the coop
05:48 PM JT-Shop: they scratched it all out?
05:48 PM phipli: yeah
05:48 PM phipli: most of it
05:48 PM phipli: Workmate lost a chicken last week
05:49 PM phipli: he's worried the flock have something
05:49 PM JT-Shop: something got it?
05:49 PM JT-Shop: ouch that's not good
05:49 PM phipli: but I think he just thinks that "sick chicken" symptoms are all caused by the same problem
05:50 PM phipli: he was describing the symptoms as withdrawn neck, turned down tail and not very active...
05:50 PM phipli: yeah, that condition is called "not feeling well"
05:50 PM JT-Shop: yep
05:51 PM phipli: how are the eggs?
05:51 PM phipli: still getting bigger?
05:51 PM phipli: I ate the huge one we had a while back - it was a very big double yoker
05:51 PM JT-Shop: a bit erratic with size but generally getting bigger...
06:15 PM phipli: night folks
06:15 PM JT-Shop: night
