[07:45:50] <PetefromTn_> The bearings will see 12k RPM for extended periods of time and are rated for much higher than that.
[07:46:15] <PetefromTn_> I have something called Ultimox 226 in a small tub with enough quantity for the bearings and then some.
[07:46:25] <PetefromTn_> It is supposed to be ideal for bearing applications.
[07:46:45] <PetefromTn_> I also have some Super lube with PTFE/PFPE

[20:30:30] <PetefromTn_> Then I will squirt it as evenly as possible between the bearing balls on the outer race. Apparently that is how the fafnir .PDF on the bearings recommends. They also recommend prelubing the breaings before installation
[20:33:14] <PetefromTn_> Unfortunately the assembled motor and mounting plate that gets reinstalled on the machine is at the outer edge of what I can lift by myself.
[20:33:41] <PetefromTn_> When I removed it my wife was able to help steady me while I lowered it down onto my shoulder from atop the enclosure.

[20:57:00] <LatheBuilder> I understand the hardware hookups for drive enable and estop chain enable. This is a retrofit to a vertical mill. Thankfully the old control had wiring pretty close to published schematics in spite of it being a frankenmill from the beginning
