10:33 AM seb_kuzminsky: the 2.9 build failure on the buildbot is from the gladevcp icon symlinks, hans is working on that
10:34 AM seb_kuzminsky: the 2.9 build failure on github is from Ubuntu's azure mirror is being unreliable, so it's not even getting to the lintian failure
10:34 AM Tom_L: :/

04:53 PM andypugh_: Just made a start at a Modbus driver for a VFD that I bought simply because it was on Amazon at £17 (for a 2.2kW)
04:53 PM andypugh_: Turns out to be rather an interesting one, with all sorts of toys like a buit-in PLC.
04:54 PM andypugh_: It’s meant to be 440V three-phase but seems to be chatting on Modbus fairly happily on 250V single phase
04:59 PM JT-Shop: you have way too much fun
04:59 PM andypugh_: I think it was mis-advertised: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SKI780-Inverter-Frequency-Single-Three-Phase/dp/B07WSB2YND/
05:00 PM andypugh_: JT-Shop: The “driver” looks like this, with the new thing I dropped on the repository last night “
05:00 PM andypugh_: {HAL_FLOAT, 3, 0x1002, 1, "busvolt"},
05:00 PM andypugh_: {HAL_U32, 6, 0x2000, 1, "command"},
05:00 PM andypugh_: {HAL_FLOAT, 6, 0x1000, 1, "frequency"},
05:00 PM andypugh_: };
05:02 PM JT-Shop: on my second go around watching leo up to ep98
05:02 PM Tom_L: you plannin to build one?
05:03 PM JT-Shop: I was planning on building a model of a saw mill that used a vertical blade
05:04 PM JT-Shop: I actually learn quite a lot of wood working techniques watching them
05:05 PM Tom_L: i bet
05:22 PM Unterhausen: did they ever set a time for the meetup at Tormach to start?
06:11 PM CaptHindsight[m]: Unterhausen: try asking on the ML, I haven't seen anything about an official start time
07:18 PM andypugh_: Unterhausen: Rene-dev is already there, I arrive Friday 1715 (at the airport)
07:42 PM Unterhausen: I was more curious about when to get there in the morning
07:43 PM andypugh_: Sorry, no idea. I was going to ask the night before. :-)
08:57 PM seb_kuzminsky: andypugh_: do you want a ride from the airport? i'll have a car there, i could pick you up
