02:20 PM roguish[m]: pere: good day. I am working on my modbus comp. Lookiing over all the other userspace comps in the src/hal/user_comps directory. many have a 'submakefile' I figure it is used when linuxcnc is compiled, right? even the comp I am working on (vfdb_vfd.c) has a submakefile file.

03:04 PM roguish[m]: the original comp is for a type Delta-B vfd. I am using a Delta-E. most modbus addresses are the same, but a few are different. and of course the one I want is different....
03:06 PM roguish[m]: It would be nice to put in a parameter or something in the comp to specify the type of vfd, but that is above me right now..... If I can get my one address added, and working, I might try just to learn more coding......... glutton for punishment....

03:30 PM pere: andypugh: gmail is mostly an intranet, not really accepting emails from the world, so it is not that strange. Anyway, send another reply to the b.o address now.
11:05 PM cradek: pere: fwiw, absolutely all my troubles sending emails to gmail users stopped when I set up dkim and spf records (and requested dmarc reports from gmail/yahoo/etc to verify they were right)
11:06 PM cradek: it was a pain, I probably spent a full day on it but it was worth the trouble. that was a persistent problem and now it's totally gone.
