05:13 AM JT-Cave: morning
05:14 AM silopolis[m]: Was about to dig alone but may be you can point me into the right direction...
05:15 AM silopolis[m]: Where can I find how's the retract height set for G73?
05:20 AM JT-Cave: drilling cycles
05:21 AM silopolis[m]: Yes
05:22 AM silopolis[m]: Docs doesn't say a word about the retract height for chip breaks
05:24 AM JT-Cave: r?
05:24 AM JT-Cave: no q
05:24 AM JT-Cave: I think it is fixed
05:33 AM JT-Cave: https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/master/src/emc/rs274ngc/interp_cycles.cc
05:33 AM JT-Cave: 175
05:35 AM silopolis[m]: Thanks
06:08 AM pere: perhaps update the doc?
06:09 AM pere: I ran my first G code command today. G0 with a small movement. Almost completed before I got my usual following error.
06:13 AM silopolis[m]: <pere> "perhaps update the doc?" <- I will 👍
06:14 AM silopolis[m]: <pere> "I ran my first G code command..." <- How frustrating... Hope you'll kill it soon 🤞
06:15 AM silopolis[m]: Speaking of frustration, I'm spending all free time on Brother control docs this WE 😒
06:16 AM silopolis[m]: Have to make friend with that new machine I work on _fast_!
06:18 AM silopolis[m]: And before I have to learn the Hurco just aside of it, which should happen very soon 😬
06:20 AM pere: anyone know what a D type flip-flop is? flipflop(9) is a bit sparse on what it is, so I am unsure if it is the feature I am looking for....
06:37 AM pere: perhaps it behave kind of like <URL: https://www.learnabout-electronics.org/Digital/dig53.php >? The manual page could use some more info and an example. for example, do I need to use addf to enable it?

02:41 PM pere: silopolis[m]: seb_kuzminsky mentioned the docs in master do not build on unstable. is it building for you?
03:00 PM silopolis[m]: pere: could not work on lcnc for more than 2 weeks so can't tell sorry
03:01 PM pere: silopolis[m]: aha. vacation?
03:41 PM silopolis[m]: pere: nope, new job 😅
03:42 PM silopolis[m]: New work hours, new machines, new controls
04:35 PM roguish[m]: silopolis: new job. congrats
04:50 PM CaptHindsight[m]: pere: it doesn't build for me on testing or unstable even though it has po4a 0.66, others say back-porting po4a 0.66 to bullseye (deb11) works for them, but did not for me so I suspect I may be doing something wrong
05:16 PM CaptHindsight[m]: RIP builds on all, deb packages don't
