01:31 AM pere: silopolis[m]: do you know why the docs/po/ translations are not commited to <URL: https://hosted.weblate.org/git/linuxcnc/linuxcnc/ >?
02:42 AM pere: seb_kuzminsky: what is the story behind 5389430ce5727c7b2c2f250417c36f53140037a8 ?
06:24 AM JT-Cave: pcw-home, does the 6i24 use the 5i24 firmware?
06:24 AM JT-Cave: http://www.mesanet.com/software/parallel/6i24.zip
06:24 AM JT-Cave: that link is 404: Page not found
08:20 AM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
08:44 AM pcw-home: Yes
08:46 AM JT-Cave: thanks
08:48 AM JT-Cave: did you get a chance to fix the 7i96S TB2 spindle description in the manual?
08:49 AM pcw-home: no, I forgot, I'll try an fix it on Monday (when Mesa's Internet is back up)
08:50 AM Tom_L: ok, don't try working on a pc in the dark... i had the 6i24 turned around backwards.. it fits the test pc
08:54 AM pcw-home: That's one of the side effects of making a universal (5V or 3.3V) PCI card
08:55 AM pcw-home: if you have a bracket its hard to install backwards on normal MBs
08:55 AM Tom_L: all i had was the short bracket so i took it off
08:59 AM Tom_L: ahh.. you finally renamed the .deb :)
09:01 AM Tom_L: you don't need --addr for pcie do you?
09:03 AM -!- #linuxcnc-devel mode set to +v by ChanServ
09:04 AM Tom_L: ok, so mesaflash doesn't recognize the 6i24 however i used the 5i24 and it read hmid
09:13 AM pcw-home: Yes the 6I24 will appear as a 5I24 if it has 5I24 firmware installed
09:14 AM Tom_L: i didn't know if that was something you wanted to fix in mesaflash...
09:15 AM Tom_L: they're pretty much interchangeable i think
09:15 AM Tom_L: some noob out there may not know that
09:18 AM JT-Cave: Tom_L, grab a fresh copy of mesact deb in a few minutes, uploading now
09:20 AM Tom_L: ok
09:20 AM JT-Cave: the help says --readhmid Print hostmot2 configuration in PIN file format.
09:21 AM JT-Cave: maybe hmid means hostmot2 id?
09:21 AM Tom_L: that's what i thought in the main channel
