05:08 AM mrec: does anyone hvae the camview-emc sourcecode?
05:52 AM silopolis[m]: @mrec may be you can get the source package here http://psha.org.ru/debian/dists/debian11/contrib/
06:45 AM mrec: silopolis[m]: where?
07:27 AM silopolis[m]: mrec: http://psha.org.ru/b/camview-emc.html
07:32 AM mrec: the link is dead
07:39 AM pere: works for me.
08:01 AM mrec: you can get the source from there?
08:01 AM mrec: http://psha.org.ru/cgit/psha/cu-plugins
08:01 AM mrec: 404
10:52 AM skunkworks: mesa flash made it into debian testing!
11:04 AM pere: yay
11:06 AM pere: I suspect it will be thrown out unless #1001904 is fixed.
11:16 AM pere: I am surprised it made it to testing, thought only source only uploads was accepted.
11:27 AM pere: silopolis[m] seb_kuzminsky: I am unable to get the doc build system to work with po4a. :(
12:13 PM seb_kuzminsky: i believe #1001904 is fixed
12:14 PM seb_kuzminsky: emc-developers@lists.sf.net now accepts from *@*.debian.org
12:14 PM seb_kuzminsky: we can make a new list ("linuxcnc-public" or something) if it needs to be more permissive than that (eg if it needs to accept posts from any email address
12:15 PM seb_kuzminsky: i also have an attempt at the fix for all the other non-sys/io.h architectures, and a fix for #1001880 (those are both in master)
12:16 PM seb_kuzminsky: i intend to make a new release, 3.4.1, and a new dsc which i will send you pere
12:16 PM seb_kuzminsky: skunkworks: my new (used) DIMMs came in, i swapped out the bad DIMM in the r710 and now it seems good & stable
12:17 PM seb_kuzminsky: i'll be adding linuxcnc buildbot VMs for bullseye, bookworm, and unstable on that host, so thank you!!
12:24 PM pere: seb_kuzminsky: the way I understand the debian policy, everyone must be able to reach the package maintainer in a reasonable time. thing for example to warn of security issues, etc.
12:28 PM seb_kuzminsky: that makes sense, but i'm worried about spam
12:30 PM seb_kuzminsky: i don't want to open up emc-developers to posts from addresses that are not subscribed, for this reason
12:31 PM seb_kuzminsky: do you know how other projects handle this issue?
12:53 PM jepler[m]: we can also switch the list's behavior from unsubscribed addresses from "reject" to "hold", which produces an e-mail to the list administrators. the disused emc-board mailing list is like this, and relatively few messages ever come in.
12:53 PM jepler[m]: with "hold", someone just needs to process and approve the messages, so it could become a pain for people to engage that way as their default though
12:54 PM jepler[m]: well, it would be a pain for admins/moderators, the people themselves would ideally not know.
12:58 PM Tom_L: they already seem busy
01:03 PM seb_kuzminsky: jepler[m]: that seems like the least-bad option
01:25 PM pere: can the listadmin program be used with the mailing list? it might make the moderation job easier.
02:19 PM silopolis[m]: <mrec> "the link is dead" <- Maybe you can setup the apt source listed in the install readme and pull the source package?
02:23 PM skunkworks: seb_kuzminsky: yay! the second one is boxed up.
02:25 PM seb_kuzminsky: wow, cool! i'll have to make a spot for it in the garage^Wmachine room
02:34 PM seb_kuzminsky: pere: jepler[m] i updated emc-developers@l.sf.net so emails from unsubscribed addresses now get held, and list admins (me, jeff, etc) can choose to allow or discard
