09:02 AM jepler[m]: if necessary it can be done manually by an admin from the "repository maintenance" page but it should happen within 24 hours of someone updating translations. if it works like over in circuitpython.
09:02 AM pere: aha
09:20 AM jepler[m]: and I paid some dues in the form of reviewing PRs. see y'all around.

01:47 PM linuxcnc-build: Build details are at http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/buildbot/builders/0000.checkin/builds/8424
02:00 PM Tom_L: ooo green is good!
02:21 PM pere: jepler[m]: btw, what happen after you approve pull requests in github? what is the proccess here?
02:41 PM hansu: seb_kuzminsky I merged the changes of the 2.8 de.po file into master. Was a lot of work with many conflicts because both users on weblate and I did changes at some points. But as I saw recently, the weblate branch is already drifted away from my work - so there will be merge conflicts again.
02:44 PM hansu: @seb_kuzminsky I just created a pull request. Please have a try to synchronize it with weblate. If there are too many merge conflicts feel free to reach out for me. But how we could avoid that it will happen again? Can we disable the editing on Weblate for a day or so?
02:51 PM jepler[m]: Pere: If I approve but do not merge a PR it's probably because the GitHub ci is not complete
03:14 PM pere: jepler[m]: ok. and what happen next?
03:15 PM pere: hansu: did you consider making the changes in weblate instead?
03:16 PM hansu: @pere yes, new changes I will make in Weblate, but these are changes already made in 2.8 and I don't want to make them again...
03:17 PM hansu: @jepler > Hi, can you answer a question about these changes? Thank you!
03:17 PM hansu: Sure, but what questions?
03:17 PM pere: seb_kuzminsky: It is possible to ask the weblate system admins to exclude a language from weblate/linuxcnc, but it is a lot of overhead for a few days. will probably take several days to get the block in place, and similar to get it removed again.
03:18 PM pere: hansu: the project admins can block weblate completely (ie lock it), but not on a per language basis.
03:20 PM hansu: Maybe we should do this for some hours. But maybe not at a weekend...
03:20 PM pere: perhaps. :)
03:21 PM pere: with debian-handbook, I lock weblate while merging changes into master, because we rebase and squash in the process, and that could cause a lot of conflicts if we did not lock it.
03:21 PM pere: but that locking rarely take more than an hour.
03:22 PM jepler[m]: Hansu: in the pr I asked about error message handling
03:22 PM jepler[m]: Or I intended to
03:23 PM hansu: Maybe latter, I couldn't find a further question 🙂
03:24 PM jepler[m]: Mistake seems to be on my end, let me switch to my laptop for a moment
03:26 PM jepler[m]: hansu: can you see the feedback now? it's about how error messages will happen for the former cases of <stdin> and <commandline>.
03:27 PM hansu: @pere Hmm if there are not too many changes, i'll maybe get in in one hour.
03:28 PM jepler[m]: pere: ideally someone comes back and merges the PR once it is green from CI
03:42 PM hansu: @jepler[m] Yes
04:08 PM pere: hansu: how come <URL: https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/pull/1447/files > list changes outside de.po too?
