08:39 PM jepler[m]: so I saw the pain and suffering above .. as far as I can tell, the main branch is directed only at python3 so I tried modernizing our detection of boost & python with macros from the autoconf library. Maybe it'll help. https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/pull/1226
