07:02 PM skunkworks: these are really quite amazing... http://www.electronicsam.com/images/KandT/testing/8300/8200.png
07:05 PM skunkworks: notice the elapsed time...
07:45 PM CaptHindsight: skunkworks: is that before or after you open Firefoxand play a Youtube? :)
07:46 PM skunkworks: I had played a few youtube videos on it. didn't effect it
07:47 PM CaptHindsight: it's still the thing that causes the most RT delay

07:47 PM skunkworks: that one is with youtube playing in the back ground
07:47 PM skunkworks: or this one

07:48 PM CaptHindsight: skunkworks: have you noticed if the very first run of the latency test tends to be the worst no matter how many more times you run it?
07:48 PM skunkworks: I have seen that - but not on these machiens..
07:49 PM skunkworks: I ran the rpi most of the day today without any errors. still don't trust it :)
07:49 PM CaptHindsight: the spikes also tend to happen when you first open FF and again when you play the first video
07:50 PM CaptHindsight: i still say to build u-boot for the RPI properly, remove all power management, and then build a kernel without any power management options left on
07:51 PM CaptHindsight: they probably still have buggy drivers as well
07:51 PM CaptHindsight: like the USB issue
07:52 PM CaptHindsight: like love, people tend to look in all the wrong places for latency issues :)
07:53 PM CaptHindsight: the Rpi Linux devs don't have low latency on their minds
