05:36 PM jthornton: is it working now?
05:40 PM andypugh: Yes, seems to be.
05:40 PM andypugh: Try it, M52 to turn on adaptive feed, and then try a negative number in motion.adaptive-feed
05:43 PM jthornton: cool
05:44 PM jthornton: I think I've borked my local repo need to wipe and clone again lol
05:44 PM jthornton: is there anything in the docs that you know of for reverse run?
05:45 PM jthornton: just reading M52 and I think that is wrong now
05:45 PM andypugh: I just added: https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/commit/aacff428fe4a16299029e38c4910371b2aff51d2
05:45 PM jthornton: well there you go thanks
05:46 PM jthornton: and even in french!
05:46 PM jthornton: do you speak french?
05:48 PM andypugh: Not really, but I did it at school and spend enough time in France to know whether a Google Translate offering is saying the right thing or not.
05:48 PM jthornton: that' cool
05:49 PM andypugh: (So when I see “feed hold” translated as “arretre d’alimentation” I know that’s the wrong sort of “feeding”
05:49 PM jthornton: all I know is how to order 3 eggs
05:50 PM jthornton: for a while Air France was our ride home from west africa so we naturally stopped in paris
05:51 PM andypugh: I am currently trying to read one of my favourite novels in German. That’s mainly proving that I need to learn a lot more German.
05:51 PM jthornton: Das Boot?
05:51 PM andypugh: (I do a couple of hours German class each week)
05:53 PM andypugh: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Das-Schiff-Chanur-Chanur-Zyklus-German-ebook/dp/B01879S7A0/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=dash+schiff+der+chanur&qid=1560034116&s=books&sr=1-1-fkmr0
05:54 PM andypugh: It’s just about the only book I have read more than once (I have read it three times) so reckon that basically knowing the plot ought to help :-)
05:54 PM jthornton: aye at least you know if your reading it correctly
05:56 PM jthornton: the only german I hear is 99 luftballons and I prefer the german version of the song
05:57 PM andypugh: I was rather randomly looking un Nena on Wikipedia recently. She is still performing.
05:58 PM jthornton: she has a lovely voice

06:07 PM andypugh: (one called Nena (or mossibly Nina)
06:08 PM andypugh: It’s a channel about rebuilding an old wooden racing yacht. It’s very good.
06:08 PM jthornton: I'll have to watch during free time 3am to 8am
