04:04 PM jthornton: andypugh: should we make a 2.8 branch now?
04:07 PM Tom_L: what's left on the repair list?
04:07 PM andypugh: It’s up to Mozmck I theory, but I think now is the time to freeze 2.8, open Master for new stuff, and iron out the bugs.
04:07 PM jthornton: yea I agree
04:07 PM andypugh: Not that I know _how_ to do any of that :-)
04:07 PM Tom_L: heh
04:07 PM Tom_L: it has been a good while
04:07 PM jthornton: as for the branch I think you just make a branch from master called 2.8
04:07 PM andypugh: Is Moses about?
04:08 PM jthornton: his nick is dulled out so mozmck may not be around
04:08 PM jthornton: but now I've summoned him...
04:09 PM jthornton: I wonder if it is a good time to see if we can get Travis to build LinuxCNC?
04:10 PM jthornton: https://travis-ci.org/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc
04:10 PM jthornton: looks like it is being built on travis
04:11 PM jthornton: https://travis-ci.org/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/branches
04:11 PM andypugh: Yes, Travis complains about builds quite often.
04:12 PM jthornton: I guess that does not replace the buildbot for making debs and such
04:13 PM andypugh: No, it just tests rather than make packages.
04:14 PM andypugh: I don’t want to give up on RTAI, but I am not seeing many options.
04:14 PM jthornton: looks like travis can build debs
