02:40 AM KimK: jthornton: If I was going to follow your instructions for Mint 19.1-rt today, would you suggest I use 4.19.31 (the latest one that I can see a corresponding 4.19.31-rt18 patch for) instead of 4.19.1 ? They go up to 4.19.34 if we just want the newest one, but no patches (yet?) for .32, .33, .34 . Thanks in advance for any advice.
03:23 AM KimK: jthornton: I thought it wouldn't hurt to try a test build with https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/linux-4.19.31.tar.xz and https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/4.19/older/patch-4.19.31-rt18.patch.gz I haven't done this before, but so far everything seems OK(?)
03:28 AM KimK: It's running make now, I'll be back later. I'll hold off on the two install steps until after I hear your advice. Thanks again.
