06:08 PM seb_kuzminsky: it looks like i was wrong about motion.requested-vel, it looks like is has F when in g1, and the machine's max vel when in g0
06:16 PM pcw_home: That would be fine for plasma, but I think is has other values at least I have plots of more than 2 values
06:38 PM pcw_home: yes looks like maybe different in G2/3
06:41 PM pcw_home: http://freeby.mesanet.com/requested.png
06:46 PM pcw_home: changing between G1 and G2/G3 gives other feed rate values...
08:25 PM skunkworks: I think I noticed that too - but increased the acceleration of the machine so that it didn't slow down on given arcs.. :)
08:54 PM pcw_home: Yeah i can increase the accel to 1G or so but I still get the drop in requested velocity at the junction between G1 and G2/3
08:55 PM pcw_home: I think its a semantics issue then motion pin reports the TPs requested velocity but the plasma types want the gcode value
08:57 PM skunkworks: sure
09:01 PM pcw_home: a somewhat better plot:http://freeby.mesanet.com/request2.png
09:03 PM pcw_home: they dont care what excuses the TP has, the plasma types want to know the programmed feed rate vs actual feed rate
10:50 PM seb_kuzminsky: i don't see a slowdown in my sim config: http://highlab.com/~seb/linuxcnc/arc-vel.png
10:50 PM seb_kuzminsky: i'll try lowering the accel
10:55 PM seb_kuzminsky: ok with low accel i see it too: http://highlab.com/~seb/linuxcnc/arc-vel-bad.png
