02:05 PM memfrob: I hit up the RTAI and now Xenomai mailing lists, hopefully someone somewhere will say something remotely helpful xD -- I was just presented with the most absurd argument I've seen this year.
02:07 PM memfrob: "The latest 3.16 kernel is too old to support, yet continuing support for x86 CPUs without an FPU is perfectly reasonable." >_>
02:08 PM memfrob: Ooookay then! Take care everyone and have a good weekend!
08:12 PM seb_kuzminsky: Depending on the latest commit of a library is too slow. The proper thing to do for really fast development is to rely on the version in the unsaved editor buffer of the library developer.

08:47 PM memfrob: Whelp, without a volunteer to help continue 3.16 IPIPE support, I have extended RTAI 4 to it's max limit. 3.10 and 3.18 are EOL and I've ironed out every bug that I was aware of/could find in the entire RTAI tree.
08:53 PM memfrob: I'll wait a few more days to see if the lead Xenomai IPIPE dev gets back to me, but it looks like the master branch of my tree has reached it's max potential. https://github.com/NTULINUX/RTAI/tree/master -- 4 years in the making to be the most stable LTS RTAI tree for LinuxCNC. I'll be releasing a final RTAI 4.9.9 tarball if 3.16 is really dead.
08:56 PM memfrob: jepler, thank you again kind sir for helping me fix all the math issues with RTAI, I couldn't have done it without your help. seb_kuzminsky, thank you for accepting my pull request. My mission is apparently complete and I will be working on converting RTAI 5 to my standards of a proper source project and that will become the new master branch :D
09:14 PM memfrob: Cheers all, take care everyone!
