12:16 PM agrieveson: I have been 'gifted' a Isel 4 axis machine controlled by a CSD 405box (http://www.ressource.isel.fr/root/Electronique/Controller/CSD405/CSD%20405-IMC-engl.pdf). Is this something that linuxcnc could potentially run?

12:25 PM jepler: LinuxCNC will not know how to talk to the "405box" by its RS 232 serial connection. However, since you know all about the connections for the motors and I/O, you could develop a board or series of boards that adapt it to a LinuxCNC compatible I/O system, stepper drivers, and so on

01:09 PM seb_kuzminsky: I just tried the sim/axis/axis sample config from 2.7.9-21 and the Home All button in Axis worked as expected

01:12 PM seb_kuzminsky: you can inspect the hal pins and nets with halcmd and try to track the problem down that way
