[17:21:27]-linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15zultron commented on issue #221: @jepler, when a python remap function returns an `INTERP_OK` or `INTERP_ERROR` result, there's no need to reenter the routine: it's done. I haven't tried to understand why the remap function doesn't need to be a generator in these cases, although it does seem to work correctly.... 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/pull/221#issuecomment-270510713 [17:27:37]<linuxcnc-build> build #4686 of 0000.checkin is complete: Failure [4failed] Build details are at http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/buildbot/builders/0000.checkin/builds/4686 blamelist: John Morris <john@zultron.com>, Jeff Epler <jepler@unpythonic.net>
[18:18:09]<andypugh> cradek: I messed up with the shiny thing. See link in the other channel.
[18:20:05]<cradek> does it work anyway (with fewer parts?)
[18:29:07]<andypugh> It works if I leave parts out. But that isn’t what I intend to do.
[18:29:32]<andypugh> I will re-make the inner wheels with a profile-shifted 51 tooth gear.
[18:31:41]<andypugh> I have a 21 tooth wheel and 2 sets of pinions on the inner-inner wheels too. I can either re-make the inner wheels as 51 teeth and provision for 3 pinion pairs, or re-think that too.
[18:32:41]<andypugh> I think I will stick with 2 pairs and re-make with shaft-centres for 20 or 22 teeth.
