[03:13:36] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15gmoccapy commented on issue #200: Any comments on this from the developer crew?... 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/200#issuecomment-265389393
[10:57:11] <IchGucksLive> hi im trouble ;-)
[10:57:32] <IchGucksLive> the new configs with glade dont aceppt .axisrc
[10:57:38] <IchGucksLive> http://www.linuxcnc.org/docs/2.5/html/gui/gladevcp_de.html#_troubleshooting
[10:57:43] <IchGucksLive> as discribed
[10:58:00] <IchGucksLive> what if i need to change the key bindings for table controled mashines
[10:58:31] <IchGucksLive> it is for old people that work with handsticks not easy to think on iso Axis Tool movement
[10:58:55] <IchGucksLive> so it is best practice to change the keymapping against the iso movment
[10:59:03] <IchGucksLive> WORKES fine
[10:59:19] <IchGucksLive> without the glade interface as tool probe screen
[10:59:38] <IchGucksLive> all this ngcguilab
[11:00:02] <IchGucksLive> for older people this is the interesting things to get fast without cam movements
[11:00:33] <IchGucksLive> WHAT can i do without recompiling or hacking axis.py
[11:01:12] <IchGucksLive> to get the key press arrows up down left rigt controled as i like
[11:05:03] <IchGucksLive> this line is the trouble shooter
[11:05:05] <IchGucksLive> EMBED_TAB_COMMAND=halcmd loadusr -Wn gladevcp gladevcp -c gladevcp -u python/probe_screen.py -x {XID} probe_icons/probe_screen.glade
[11:05:12] <IchGucksLive> but is so usefull
[11:06:04] <IchGucksLive> anny guessings someone please
[11:08:22] <IchGucksLive> im off 1hr till later ;-) discussions
[12:45:23] <IchGucksLive> where can i rered the zlog
[12:45:50] <IchGucksLive> someone respond on the problem
[12:46:21] <skunkworks> zlog
[12:48:08] <IchGucksLive> thanks not realy a replay
[12:49:51] <skunkworks> give a man a fish....
[12:50:03] <skunkworks> ;) no one answered. I don't know either
[12:51:46] <IchGucksLive> i will get thrue it
[14:33:44] <cradek> linuxcnc-build: force build --branch=BenPotter/G71 0000.checkin
[14:33:45] <linuxcnc-build> build forced [ETA 2h00m32s]
[14:33:45] <linuxcnc-build> I'll give a shout when the build finishes
[14:35:04] <bpuk> is that last nights patch?
[14:35:31] <cradek> yeah, it failed due to a transient problem on one of the arms - I just asked it to try again
[14:35:32] <bpuk> (trying to get my forked repo back up to date, hoping I didn't push something to the wrong place)
[14:35:37] <bpuk> aah - ok
[14:35:41] <cradek> yep it was just me
[14:36:12] <cradek> yeah since I rebased it, you probably have to do ... something on github
[14:36:30] <cradek> pull the new branch and push --force it to github maybe?
[14:36:49] <cradek> you might be able to do it by clicking on the website too, who can know
[14:39:10] <bpuk> tried forcing it. not playing nice, current trying to rebase to upstream, but it's throwing a lot of merge errors
[14:39:35] <cradek> sorry :-/
[14:40:13] <cradek> pretty sure you shouldn't also rebase and hope to match what I did
[14:40:26] <cradek> I fixed several conflicts
[14:41:01] <cradek> you should pull the new BenPotter/G71 from git.linuxcnc.org and coerce github into accepting it
[14:42:11] -linuxcnc-github:#linuxcnc-devel- [13linuxcnc] 15bpuk closed pull request #212: Ben potter/g71 (06BenPotter/G71...06BenPotter/G71) 02https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/pull/212
[14:43:00] <bpuk> yeah, I pulled from upstream, checked out the branch, did a hard reset to upstream, and pushed it
[14:43:05] <bpuk> seems to be right now
[14:43:11] <cradek> yay
[14:44:45] <bpuk> from now on, I need to remember to make 1 change, commit, repeat ;)
[14:45:45] <cradek> it's tricky to make commits large enough to be coherent, but small enough to represent just one idea/reason
[14:46:02] <bpuk> yeah
[14:46:25] <bpuk> otherwise you end up with tons of commits that are frustrating, or one huge one, that is frustrating
[14:46:31] <cradek> yes
[15:50:24] <linuxcnc-build> Hey! build 0000.checkin #4652 is complete: Success [3build successful]
[15:50:24] <linuxcnc-build> Build details are at http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/buildbot/builders/0000.checkin/builds/4652
[15:51:37] <bpuk> whoo
[15:58:53] <cradek> sweet
[16:04:40] <skunkworks> zlog
[16:05:14] <bpuk> so does calling zlog force an update? or just post the link to where the current log is?
[16:05:30] <cradek> just a link
[16:12:54] <skunkworks> for us lazy people that don't bookmark it...
[16:26:26] <bpuk> bookmark?
[16:26:33] <bpuk> you don't remember the address? :P
[16:31:25] <skunkworks> no... and you have to change the date every day.. So much work ;)
[16:32:10] <bpuk> my word - remembering up to irc - and browsing the rest of the way... terrible! such hardship! ;)
[16:34:20] <cradek> bpuk: we have a special deal with skunkworks where he'll be our friend if we don't make fun of him
[16:52:18] <andypugh> I actually used to use the logger at psha.org.ru, but guess I can’t any more
[16:53:49] <andypugh> Looks like that logger has not been right for a while: http://psha.org.ru/irc/%23emc-devel/index-2016.html
[17:05:15] <JT-Shop> andypugh: I'm working on a replacement logger with a better interface
[17:05:37] <JT-Shop> http://gnipsel.com/logs/%23linuxcnc/index.html
[17:05:48] <JT-Shop> at least I hope it is a better interface lol
[17:16:32] <bpuk> cradek: fair enough - I wasn't making fun of him, I was making fun of me :)
[17:19:03] <skunkworks> http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?IRCquotes
[17:25:03] <skunkworks> I miss ray.. wonder what he has been up to...
