[18:48:15] <skunkworks> pcw_home: are you around? Having some odd issues with the 7i69 I cannot figure out.
[18:50:20] <skunkworks> when the estop is out - the output stays true - while the opto22 input relay switches. (led goes on and off)
[18:53:01] <skunkworks> with the estop pushed in - the output goes false and it does toggle from false to true when the switch is clicked.
[18:53:29] <skunkworks> but I don't see anything that would be causing this
[18:53:54] <skunkworks> net xhome-switch <= hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.input-00-not axis.0.home-sw-in net yhome-switch <= hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.input-01-not axis.1.home-sw-in net zhome-switch <= hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.input-02-not axis.2.home-sw-in
[18:54:00] <skunkworks> well - that sucked
[18:54:38] <skunkworks> net xhome-switch <= hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.input-00-not axis.0.home-sw-in
[18:54:58] <skunkworks> net yhome-switch <= hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.input-01-not axis.1.home-sw-in
[18:55:15] <skunkworks> net zhome-switch <= hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.input-02-not axis.2.home-sw-in
[18:55:42] <skunkworks> net spindle-forward motion.spindle-forward hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.output-22
[18:56:19] <skunkworks> net estop-all-ok hm2_7i80.0.gpio.036.out hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.output-23
[18:56:31] <skunkworks> those are the only pins I have hooked up to the 7i69
[18:56:42] <skunkworks> hmm - let me unhook the output-23
[19:00:39] <skunkworks> yes - so swithing the hm2_7i80.0.7i69.0.1.output-23 true/false/true - changes the inputs from the same card (even without the 23 relay in there)
[19:05:28] <skunkworks> trying a different card...
[19:15:47] <skunkworks> I think the card asnd cable poer enabled
[19:15:55] <skunkworks> wasn't
[19:16:17] <skunkworks> (no jumper from pin 50...)
[19:23:57] <skunkworks> wow - the indicator leds on the board are brighter... DUh
[19:59:45] <pcw_home> yeah with no power you have some interesting crosstalk issues
[20:02:18] <skunkworks> that was the problem.. Spindle working now - 10v is 6000rpm. orient works
[20:44:36] <skunkworks_> another great stream of consciousness...
[20:53:19] <skunkworks_> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwHqET2BACg
[20:56:30] <skunkworks_> still have to tune the axis.. soon
[21:02:23] <cradek> awesome
[21:08:02] <skunkworks_> wierd just hooking things up - unlike the k&t
[21:08:29] <cradek> it was fully working before you started?
[21:11:45] <skunkworks_> pretty much,,
[21:11:57] <skunkworks_> no issues with servos or spindle drive
[21:20:53] <skunkworks_> orient 'just works' no futzing - just initiate the orient while either spinning or stopped - orients.
[21:21:34] <skunkworks_> easier than a pawl...
[21:47:38] <jepler> a-pawl-ing
[21:50:59] <skunkworks_> :)
