[09:30:48] <mozmck> I presume there is not a way to toggle spindle, coolant, and mist while in auto mode (running code)?
[09:32:47] <cradek> I think coolant/mist actually is allowed. did you try it?
[09:33:07] <mozmck> I haven't tried that - it's spindle I need to do it with :)
[09:33:23] <cradek> yeah I doubt spindle is allowed
[09:33:35] <cradek> you can sure set the spindle override to 0% though
[09:33:58] <mozmck> Hmm, to turn it off - that might be all I need.
[09:34:29] <mozmck> jthornton: JT-Shop: you around?
[09:36:16] <jepler> ooh I just got my letsencrypt beta invitation for whitelisted domains including forum.linuxcnc.org
[09:36:40] <jepler> so I should be able to https-enable forum.linuxcnc.org
[09:38:10] <cradek> sweet
[09:38:19] <cradek> how's that going? are you happy with the testing?
[09:46:59] <seb_kuzminsky> jepler: that's great
[10:00:51] <JT-Shop> mozmck, yes
[10:01:35] <mozmck> Here is an amd64 preempt-rt kernel for your linux mint: http://www.mcknight-instruments.com/linuxcnc/
[10:03:44] <jepler> cradek: nobody turned up any significant issues with the testing site
[10:03:56] <jepler> I'm not sure whether I'll be able to get away without redoing the whole thing or not
[10:04:34] <jepler> and as for letsencrypt it seems to be pretty awesome. there's a little bit of terrible where it invokes apt-get install without fully informing you what it's about to do, but beyond that it's good
[10:05:12] <JT-Shop> mozmck, thanks
[10:05:13] <mozmck> JT-Shop: you will have to use linuxcnc-uspace with that kernel, but it should work fine with your 5i25
[10:05:27] <mozmck> (from what I've been told :-D )
[10:07:04] <JT-Shop> so I just install the debs?
[10:07:45] <mozmck> yes, dpkg -i *.deb if they are the only .debs in the directory
[10:08:04] <mozmck> or one at a time with Gdebi which should open them when you double-click them
[10:08:38] <JT-Shop> ok, thanks I'll download them tonight when it is free for me
[10:08:39] <mozmck> a reboot should run it since it is a newer kernel than linux mint uses.
[10:09:02] <mozmck> I'm assuming you needed 64 bit - I can also upload a 32 bit kernel
[10:09:12] <JT-Shop> just need to put a box together
[10:09:30] <JT-Shop> I don't think I have any 64 bit motherboards free
[10:09:53] <JT-Shop> I think I only have one 64 bit computer
[10:12:35] <mozmck> ok, I'll put up the 32 bit too
[10:15:45] <seb_kuzminsky> where is the joomla database?
[10:19:34] <mozmck> You may have to log into the dreamhost panel to see.
[10:20:03] <seb_kuzminsky> i'm logged in to wlo and am poking around there
[10:20:04] <cradek> it's in dreamhosts's mysql
[10:20:10] <seb_kuzminsky> hmm
[10:20:19] <mozmck> Go to Goodies
[10:20:25] <seb_kuzminsky> can i access it? i want to run jekyll's importer on it
[10:20:41] <seb_kuzminsky> i've never seen the dreamhost panel
[10:20:44] <seb_kuzminsky> i dont know the url
[10:20:52] <mozmck> oh, wlo won't tell you.
[10:21:01] <mozmck> panel.dreamhost.com but you need the login info
[10:22:51] <mozmck> I don't know if this was the case when the linuxcnc.org mysql was set up, but they make you create a hostname <something>.<yourdomain>.whatever for the mysql databases.
[18:47:42] <skunkworks> zlog
[21:04:52] <skunksleep> http://www.cnczone.com/forums/tormach-pathpilot-/286434-pp-1-9-3-released.html
[22:04:50] <jepler> looks like they chmodded our website again today :-/
[22:04:55] <jepler> Access: (0000/d---------) Uid: (644025/emcboard) Gid: (61242/pg167418)
[22:04:58] <jepler> Change: 2015-11-04 17:22:41.319144669 -0800
[22:05:07] <jepler> .. groan
[22:06:30] <jepler> seb_kuzminsky: in ssh to wlo you can see the file linuxcnc_org.sql as well as the sql login credentials in www.linuxcnc.org/configuration.php
[22:11:35] <jepler> (but the login credentials are not usable from random internet hosts, possibly only from wlo)
[22:34:46] <seb_kuzminsky> jepler: i pulled all the content out of the joomla mysql
[22:35:26] <seb_kuzminsky> i did not chmod the website, that must have been dreamhost
[22:35:39] <seb_kuzminsky> i'm not ready to do the switcheroo to the jekyll site yet
[22:35:44] <seb_kuzminsky> we should chmod it back for now
[22:37:50] <seb_kuzminsky> ah, somebody did already
[22:37:54] <seb_kuzminsky> thanks
