[01:14:05] <archivist> chains are "interesting" to repair
[01:17:42] <archivist> must rebuild my verge, needs the verge pivots bushing
[05:59:42] <jthornton> cradek, the lines between 4 dashes is code and is the way I've done it throughout the docs. The [source,{ngc}] might produce some highlighting in 2.6 or might not. I know in master some did.
[06:01:07] <jthornton> but looking in the docs and I don't see that [source,{ngc}] does anything at all
[19:25:02] <KGB-linuxcnc> 05araisrobo-scurve 194b61e 06linuxcnc 04. branch deleted * 14http://git.linuxcnc.org/?p=linuxcnc.git;a=commitdiff;h=194b61e
[21:24:43] <cradek> jthornton: looks like it makes it colorful
[21:30:24] <andypugh> Why did I ever answer Aram’s question?
[21:30:48] <cradek> because you're helpful and a nice guy
[21:31:06] <andypugh> I just want to reply “You are too stupid to use a CNC machine, just stop"
[21:31:22] <cradek> be aware, you can just stop helping
[21:31:28] <cradek> :-/
[21:43:18] <pcw_home> I think Aram has a rheostat, not a potentiometer...
[21:44:43] <andypugh> or he has wired a pot as a rheostat. Or a rhododendron.
[21:50:15] <pcw_home> The THCAD has about a 12.5% offset so a 10V FS version should vary about 40% 0 to 5V
[21:51:06] <pcw_home> I _tried_ to explain the potentiometer connections to Aram over the phone but must have failed...
[21:52:44] <andypugh> Of he is actually using a potentiometer then he could have used the $3 encoder I first suggested. I thought he had an actual voltage output from a welder to measure.
