03:58 AM Joco[m]: solved! Using a cheap bike inner tube. Cut a strip, wedged it into the groove with the guard and BOOM, we have a seal. Tested and works a treat.

10:42 PM hazzy-m: Yeah, she'll clean up fine. I was in Canada for a couple weeks this summer and the AC didn't come back on after a power outage and everything got rusty

10:45 PM Joco[m]: ah. Not a real issue for my location. But I have stared covering machines with sheets. Helps to moderate temp changes and keeps dust and crap off.
