06:36 AM Joco[m]: got some new 7i76 firmware loaded tonight. It allows me to get set the MPG counting to 4 so I am getting fill 0.005um res on glass scales. Re ran the X axis screw compensation with proper res. wow - what a difference. It's got to get worse when I start doing cuts. But the "desk check" looks pretty dang good.

03:26 PM JT-Shop: I've never tried to spray I don't think, I just twiddle the feed until it sounds real smooth
03:49 PM Joco[m]: The standard MIG mix sold to jo public in NZ is not the 70/30 I believe you tend to see in the USA. Here varies between 2% Oxygen and 5% CO2 to 2% O and 12% CO2 with balance Argon. So quite a good mix to be able to get spray to trigger with enough voltage for the wire size.
